Special shout out to our teacher Ms Valayil who goes above and beyond for her students and genuinely care about their academics and well being. Also, Ms Pacheco (Spanish teacher) and Ms Shohana (after school teacher) who are so supportive and caring - and entire front office/leadership team at this campus who exceeded our expectations. As we wrap up the school year this week, our family agreed that we made the right decision to be at Stratford and look forward to continuing our education here. The teacher very clearly favors one student over another. On the flip side, if the teacher does not like a student, the teacher also will not hesitate to made that very clear to everybody including the kids, in many areas, without considering how terrible for the poor kids to bear. For example, the class you will be assigned to at the beginning of each academic year, is determined how much you are favored. Good students are often assigned to good class, bad students are assigned to bad class. We believe our son is not Ms Quinn's favorite, or Ms Quinn has certain bias against us, so we quickly ran away. I do not recommend Merryhill to anybody!

Serving mainly the children in Starlite Manor and Milpitas Manor developments, it sits on a ten acre site near Starlite Park, the first neighborhood park in Milpitas. It is a K-6 school. All the kids in our family went here. Recently a lot has changed here with photo-voltaic panels over the parking area and lunch area. More portable classrooms are on the campus to house the over 600 students. The academic program is average for Milpitas. Their API scores are improving each year. Alas, there is little money to support music, drama, art, etc. This was the last of the district's elementary schools to approve wearing uniforms, so the nearby community probably has more independent thinkers than other schools may have.
