Jordan, who I was coordinating with, was very responsive and easy to reach. The communication was casual via text messages, but still very professional and clear. There were two technicians, and they were very considerate. I mentioned that my toddler needed to nap, and they were happy to work around that and adjust which rooms they worked in first. They came fully prepared. Now I know that AC maintenance can be a messy job (filters, water, dust, etc.) but they covered everything with plastic and left the house clean afterward. They also checked and serviced the outside units. One of our AC remotes was broken. Jordan said it wasn't a problem and later came back with a replacement remote for us. Just wow service! Overall, I'm very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

They came back with a proposal of $35,000. After reviewing the itemized estimate, I immediately advised her to get additional quotes. One line item alone was $1,660 to install four hose bibbs (spigots)--something she never requested. There was no discussion about adding new hose bibbs or performing related work throughout the house that would justify this charge. For context, hose bibbs are inexpensive parts (around $5-$10 each at The Home Depot or similar retailers) and typically require minimal labor. We obtained two additional quotes from other plumbers: $4,500 and $3,900 for the same repair. Based on this experience, the pricing from Steve's was extremely inflated and concerning--especially given that the customer was an elderly homeowner. If you consider getting a quote from Steve's, I strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before proceeding.

It was not the cheapest but I was impressed by their timely responses and no sales pitch. Very straightforward. I was given several dates and times to choose from and they scheduled me. Two techs showed up, a little early which was perfect, they got right to it. Super polite, took their shoes off. My AC's were filthy and gross. They cleaned and sanitized without leaving any mess behind. My refrigerant was low with a suspected leak, however that will have to be a next month problem. They urged me to top off and fix the leak as soon as possible and let me know what would happen if I didn't fix it soon. Message received and understood. Thank you Ultimate Air Conditioning! Updated Review (05/08/2026): Woke up this morning to a wet spot on my couch. Can you guess what…read morecaused it? Our a/c is still leaking, even after someone was sent to remedy the situation. This is so unacceptable. I paid over $400 to get my a/c cleaned, and now I'll probably be stuck with an even bigger bill to get it repaired or replaced since something is clearly wrong with it now after this company 'cleaned' my a/c units. Buyer beware. Further Update (05/08/2026): The company contacted me via text, and it is clear they are not capable of properly assessing an a/c system prior to beginning a service nor are they capable of handling systems that drain into a single drain line. A quick Google search indicates that two a/c units sharing a single drain is not uncommon, so I fear for others who have the same type of system as me. While they remained professional in their communications at first (which was the primary reason for my initial revised 4-star review), it is apparent that they do not have the knowledge or skills to properly complete the job for which they are hired and they aren't willing to take accountability for damage that they caused. If they didn't know how to handle a system like ours, then they should not have performed the service in the first place. Our a/c units were in perfect working condition (no issues, no leaks) before they came to 'clean' it for us. We've scheduled to have another company assess the damage and repair it for us, which will now cost hundreds of dollars more than the initial cleaning cost. For this reason, it is not hard to see why a customer would give a 1-star review and a strong 'do not recommend' warning to others. Text conversation with the company is included below for reference.
