I have used Jenny Harrison for years and she happily took my money for both my automobile and…read morehomeowners insurance. All was good till I had a claim. I thought my roof had been damaged by the freeze and called her office. Her staff recommended Corbin Stevens at pristine roofing. He came out and said I had Hail damage, I filled a claim and it was approved. Corbin did my roof and I paid him the money I received from Farmers plus my deductible. I took a closer look at the estimate and realized that I had been paid for screens and also to have the drip edge replaced, Corbin did not do either of those but took the money for it. He eventually gave me the money back for the screens, but still continued to say he didn't owe me anything. Here's where things went south with Jenny, I reached out to her office for help and went there to meet with Travon and showed him the estimate and my contract with Pristine roofing. He said he would get with Jenny and let me know. He called the next day and told me that Corbin's mother was a personal friend of Jenny's and that Corbin told her he did not owe me any money and that it was my word against his even though we all agreed he did not do all the work he was paid for. I made several attempts to have Jenny call me and she would not. I had to contact the district manager for help, which he was able get my money back. I asked Travon if they were going to continue to use Pristine roofing and he said yes that his mother was a personnel friend of Jenny's and they only had one complaint. I called Travis today planning to have him locate less expensive homeowners insurance for us. He…read moreasked specific questions about our current policy and took the time to explain the calculations. He assured me that we have the best available policy and ultimately he didn't get a new customer. However, he took the time to help me think through some aspects of our current policy that I could control the cost of and that resulted in a lower premium (for this coming renewal anyway). He may not have a paying customer, but for his honest expertise he has a customer for life when and if our current insurance companies changes our policy options (ie. hail/wind deductible %). Travis, thank you for taking the time to speak with me! I will reach out in the future to no one else should I believe we may benefit from switching companies.
