Terrible bad experience, lack of communication between their side and the students side. The girl At front desk is so unprofessional, it looks like might be new and has no idea how to properly communicate and explain what's going on. Maybe it's their business profit to keep things untold to make you sing up to later classes and make much more money. I could have done all by myself but trusted them that they would have done things easier for me and more effective. I would never recommend their services, there are so many videos on YouTube on how to fill out your own application and a way cheaper cost. When it was my last step of my application they kept me back and fort with many mistakes they found on my recommendation sheet, I kept going and coming back, not one single time the girl even mentioned to me that was application was expired. The last time I went there with all my paper work in hand it was 100% accurate since I had them returned by her like two or three times, she told me that I had to re-enroll if I wanted to continue with my application because it was expired and there was nothing that she could do. Mywife ask her why she didn't told us that the last time and she was upfront calling my wife a liar that she told us, we have absolutely no reason to lie, if we had known the application was expired I would have taken other measures to see what I could have done. I am still waiting for the email she promised me with the detailed days and times and voice mails "they left me" which magically I never received. When I told her I was going to my service provider to obtained a fully detailed statement with all my calls received she was not too happy with my responses. And too make matters even worse I had a late state fee charge because I received my Corp kit way too late- 5 months after and it was not even completed! No DBA made on my name and even had to pay out of my pocket for my personal consultant to help me out to clean the mess they made. THEY WILL EVEN DELETE THIS COMMENT BECAUSE ITS NOT UP TO THEIR CLEAN REPUTATION BUT I WILL KEEP POSTING IT BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEAN WHITE WEAPON THIEVES, THERE IS NO MONEY BACK AND THEIR OF COMMUNICATION AND PROFESIONALISM IS DISGUSTING! read more

This is a great school! I enrolled here and have been helped by Dionicio throughout the entire process of obtaining my General B Contractor's License! He is very professional and helps you beyond expectation. He is very honest and up front! I passed both the law and trade exams in my first try! Dionicio put a lot of effort into helping me prepare my application, scheduling my business and law classes, and most importantly, the crash courses. The staff here at the Glendale school is very helpful and knowledgeable on how to get your license. Dionicio helped me through the whole process to becoming a licensed contractor. Just wanted to say that my experience with contractor exam school was an awesome one. My counselor, Rosanna Nava made it very easy for me. She was a huge help in guiding me to passing my C-33 contractor test. Thanks Rosanna. If there's anybody who's thinking of getting their contractors license, it's way easier then you would think. I decided to obtain my contractors license in May and this school allowed me to take the state exam and pass it the first time within 2 months of study! I visited many schools around Los Angeles and this was the only one that offered a classroom with an instructor. They offer several plans I went with their most expensive which offered 4 weeks of in class lecture with an instructor once a week. All the instructors are current contractors, attorneys, etc. After I completed my 4 weeks I practiced at home with their online exams (which are very close to the state exam, I highly recommend these). Once I received my test date from the CSLB I notified the counselor (Claudia) who scheduled me for a Contractors Math Class and a Test Taking strategy class all of which greatly boosted my chances at passing! The day before my exam they put me in a crash course class to go over the more complicated and essential material which is the Law & Business and helped identify my weakness. Come the date of my Exam July 16 and everything I learned came to me and I passed my exam on the first try! This school really strives to give you the upper hand on the state exam. I would not recommend any other school! Claudia (The counselor) and Steve (The instructor) are amazing people and really have helped change my life with this experience! read more

I recently attended the business and law class in eagle rock Ca. I must say how this class helped me prepare for the state exam. The instructor Steve was very thorough and funny and I learned a great deal about business and law. Right before I took the exam the school had a crash course included and that helped. This school cares about their students and wants everyone to pass the state exams. They have a 93% positive rating. I passed the exam with their help. They help you with buying your bond and getting the documents ready to send out . I made a great decision by choosing this school and when it's time to take other classes I will do it here. TODAY IS A GREAT DAY. I passed my General B Exam, and I'm sure it's because of CSLS. From my very first contact with Rosanna I knew this was the right place for me. She helped me through the entire process. I set up (actually, she set up) a Corporation for my company, helped me file all my paperwork and send it in while thoroughly explaining it all to me. All I had to do was study, but with a teacher like Steve, that was easy too. When I was ready, we sent in my application to take the test and CSLS set up my crash course for me. I passed my test this morning, and again, I went to Rosanna and she helped me file all of my remaining paperwork. Now comes the hard part... Waiting for my license to come.
