My 9 and 7 year olds favorite classes are software and robotics. They look forward to these classes and are by far their favorites. All the teachers are engaging and able to keep kids interested. My 7 year old son has been taking lessons for over a year now and I have zero complaints. They work with your schedule and are very accommodating. My son has a good time working on his projects and he also has a fun time with the instructors. They are very knowledgeable and he has learned so much! He's the kind of kid that never stops talking, so I'm impressed that the teachers are able to work with him and he gets his projects completed and tested within a few lessons and is excited to show me when I pick him up. We love Technix Academy! Our son has been taking lessons there for two years (Robotics and Software) and he continues to look forward to it every week. The instructors are fantastic with kids. Our son started at six and they were great with him from the beginning, didn't talk down to him or treat him like a "little"' but still knew how to engage with him and support him at his age and skill level. All the valuable things he's learning in such a supportive environment have given him a boost of confidence, both at Technix and beyond. The instructors are very knowledgeable and committed to what they know best. In addition, they are all-around nice people who always make our son (and us parents!) feel welcomed. This is the best school ever and I'm so happy they are open again! My daughter was sitting in her bedroom all day everyday and had no drive to do anything. I spoke to Nick, the owner, about it and he was amazing. He was so good with the kids, so endearing and calm, knows everything robotics, makes it really fun for the kids! This post is not about their sessions that I paid for in advance, but the way they handle customer service. I have paid for a 10 session during the summer of 2019 and up until the winter break, my daughter had 6 sessions left. She really didn't feel like going back since it wasn't really for her, so I called and spoke to one of the employees and they told me that she had 6 sessions left so it will not expire and she could come back anytime. Fast fwd to a few months later into covid and everything being closed, I forgot about it until about June. I called again and asked for a refund since I wasn't comfortable sending my daughter there even though the kids were wearing masks, and they said that the owner would call me back. I wait 3 weeks and no one calls me back, so I called again today and Nick finally calls me back. When I asked him for a refund, he told me that in their policy it states that if there are unused sessions, it will just expire and there is nothing he could do about it. UNBELIEVABLE. Had he called me back even 3 weeks ago when I called, I could've gotten the information that I needed to use up the sessions but he calls me 1 year after my registration date to tell me, "Oh well, you're time has expired and there is nothing we can do." There was not extension for the months that they were closed, and no notification from any of the 5 calls I had with them during the year to tell me that I needed to use up my sessions, and this was overall a bad experience and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more

I am a student at Technix academy. I would like to say that Technix academy is not just a place for kids to learn simple robotics, it can also be a place to teach the foundations of engineering. The staff at Technix are really good and can give you assistance at any time. You can go in with no experience and in a year give or take, you can master the basics of engineering, programming, and learn some physics along the way. It is an interactive experience that all people of all ages can come to enjoy. Technix academy has really helped me learn how to make a fully functional robot, and I will be forever grateful to them for it. read more
