The tree was cut during that process, and there did not appear to be active oversight of the crew at that moment. My neighbors did not request that my tree was cut, as they were not even aware it was being cut. Roman did not come to us to speak with us or ask permission before the tree on our property was cut. After noticing the issue, I spoke directly with the foreman, Roman. During that conversation, I was given several different explanations for why the cutting was not a concern. What was most upsetting to me was not only that my tree was cut while work was being done on another property, but the way my concerns were handled afterward. The situation was repeatedly minimized and I was told things like it "would grow back" and that I "had more privacy elsewhere in the yard." His responses felt unprofessional, and it felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of feeling heard, I felt as though I shouldn't be as upset as I was. After I walked away, I was also told by my husband that Roman referenced a past situation involving a property line dispute and court involvement. I can't speak to that situation, but it added to my confusion about why it was brought up in relation to my concerns.

I brought in an old Craftsman snowblower from the early 1990s that needed big time attention. Chris gave me a very reasonable estimate upfront and was honest about the challenge of finding discontinued parts for a machine that's 32-33 years old. I dropped it off the day before Thanksgiving 2025 -- and naturally, a heavy snowstorm hit that weekend on a Saturday, selling out every available snowblower with an electric starter under $1,200. Chris was patient and kept the estimate open while I sourced discontinued parts from eBay (electric starter, housing, paddles, and more). We both knew it would take time, and he never rushed the process. Once all the parts arrived -- including an idler pulley that thankfully is still being made and purchased from Shorewood Home & Auto -- the team completed the repair. The snowblower now runs better than it has in at least 15 years. This wasn't my first great experience with Chris and Joe in service. About three years ago, they repaired an Echo leaf vacuum/shredder that another shop couldn't fix correctly. Their work saved me hours of raking leaves and earned my trust. And a shout‑out to Monica in parts as well -- she helped me source a new front‑wheel‑drive transmission for a 20 year‑old Craftsman lawnmower back in August 2024, which I installed myself.
