Great variety of outdoor landscape statues. We've bought a few statues from Boeger's before but we most recently went looking for something carved out of wood. I did buy a statue from Boeger`s they have a great selection. I had a few questions for the owner to come outside with me. He refused--said any questions I had I can ask him inside. I bought my first fountain at Beoger's. So, if you're like me this is a new experience. I had them install it I was very excited until about the 3rd day and all the water was gone. So I filled it up with 10 gallons of water and it happened again in less than 48 hours. The installer came back at least 3 times and tried to figure it out but no luck. So I called Boeger's and they told me that the water evaporates, and I said 10 gallons worth it's not that hot and he said yes that's it. I don't believe it but based on what they said be prepared to fill your fountain up every other day. I spend more time filling my fountain than I do my pool. They offer no assistance except I guess water evaporates in Chicago like we are in the desert. If what they say is true which I don't believe it is get ready to spend a lot of time carrying water or better yet buy it somewhere else. Rod C read more

I've purchased quite a few statues from this spot and I am highly satisfied the results of the look my yard has taken thanks to Boeger's. Have to admit though, after a few back aches and pains, it was well worth it. I do like the fact that Boeger's will deliver these heavy pieces for a "small" fee, depending on the size and weight of the piece. Nonetheless I've been fortunate to grab pieces that can easily fit in my SUV. The pieces themselves are plenty and will most definitely find something that you fancy. But before it all check towards the back and you will see many discounted pieces that are almost half to 75% off the regular price. But just be prepared to bring a truck due to some of the pieces being so heavy. I think this year I will be purchasing a fountain that although is in five pieces, it will have to be delivered due to size alone. Of course, I don't mind paying extra if the piece is going to be delivered in perfect shape. The staff here is super accommodating too and for the most part if you ask them for specifics, they know their inventory for sure. Now, although this next part is not about statues, I will still post it regardless. Please bring quarters and why you ask? Because they have a candy machine that takes quarters but has duck food. Yes, duck food and the ducks in their mini man made lake will follow you around for a handful of feed. I like this and its nice to see that this spot can take care of the flying friends with a little treat. Once you are done, go down a few blocks and head for IKEA, yes they are near. read more

There seem to be a bunch of mixed reviews here. I must say I've loved every experience here. My first gazing ball came from here over ten years ago with a small concrete base and it is still the centerpiece of my back yard. This is NOT a place for children to wander alone. Use some common sense people. These 10 to 100 pound concrete pillars and creatures could be knocked over by a child and who will be blamed when a kid is injured? I'm sure the parents will blame the business and not their own irresponsibility. Keep your kids calm and by your side or leave them at home. It's just safety common sense. Really. The employees I've encountered have always been friendly and helpful. Although I've never brought an unattended child here so I've missed the darker side. I once needed a specific gift that they didn't have and they were able to find a source and order it in for me. Always great experiences here. I deducted a star because I feel some prices are higher than needed. I understand that some things here can't be found anywhere else but the prices should be a bit more reasonable. I'd have purchased more things (like those awesome gargoyles) if the prices were lower. read more

I'm so glad I found this place! My mom has been talking about a bird bath for their new house, but there's never anything unique at the big chain stores around us. So, we went on an adventure from over an hour away. When we got to Boeger's, we couldn't believe how much there was to browse! It's actually fun and quite peaceful even if you're not looking for something, because they have huge fountains flowing and interesting animal statues scattered around the pond. The owner is hilarious and incredibly helpful. We ended up finding a few pieces, and he was nice to negotiate a bit with us. The guys who loaded things up were careful with the car and padded everything really well. Do recommend! read more

I have to admit, I am running out of space to put more STUFF in my yard. However, this place has lots of stuff, birdbaths, benches, statues, gazing balls and stands that will enhance your yard. The life size fireman statue is too over the top for me. They do close at the end of the season and this year they will open April 15th. Go figure. read more

Last fall we where looking for a bird bath and decided to try Boegers. We had a lot of fun walking around looking at all of the stone work. We left with gifts for our frends and the cutest little gargoyle for us. 10 out of 10 will be getting all cement ornaments from them. read more

The staff wasn't friendly at all. The older guy wouldn't walk outside so I could show him the lion statue I was interested in purchasing . He wanted me to look through a book that looked like there were 500 pages to find the lion but they were all mixed in. They were separated by vendors. He told me what ever question I had I could ask him there and all his responses were sarcastic. I began to leave and he acted as if he didn't care he just lost a customer. If you are a person of color I wouldn't recommend you go to this store. read more

I drove past this place many times when I worked nearby, and always wanted an excuse to stop. They have all sorts of concrete birdbaths and statues and fountains available, in many kinds of styles. The prices are very good, and the service is excellent. I bought a nice modern birdbath that was way better than anything you see at those box stores. It is hard to get into the parking lot: You basically need to be coming East on 87th or else you have to fight through the other lanes stopped at the light. Also know that this place closes in the winter. I think they typically open in April each year. read more

Hard to describe how cool this place is - they have statues of all kinds, planters, benches, ranging from classic to bizarre and everything in between. The prices are terrific, the service is great, you will not be disappointed - even just walking around is a good time. read more

I want to thank Hank for great customer service! I was looking for a concrete pineapple as an anniversary gift. I search the Internet, called a few local garden shops but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for...until I found Boeger's website! I saw in one of the pictures on their website the perfect statue, unfortunately the shop was closed for the winter. I called anyway and left a message telling them what I was looking for and that I needed it before they were opening for the season. Hank called me back a few hours later, said I could come in and take a look around! He worked with my schedule and when I got there they had exactly what I was looking for...AND the price was great! This place is awesome. Excellent owners, excellent inventory. Everything you can think of for your garden and landscaping from tiny memorial stones to a giant dinosaur. They had very cool water features, bird baths and statues. Every single person we dealt with from the owner to his son to the guys working the yard were friendly and helpful. We found the perfect items to complement our garden and will be sure to go here first for any future needs. read more

The pump on my fountain stopped working, so I brought it in thinking I would need to replace it. They took the time to open it up and discover the pump still worked, there was a piece that was ajar. They fixed it, tested it and my fountain is now working again. read more

What an amazing place! The hubs and I stopped in this afternoon. He has wanted a birdbath for a while but couldn't find anything he liked anywhere else. Wow - not only did he find exactly what he wanted, a beautiful bright blue glazed one, we had to add a gargoyle to the mix, too. And we have our eyes on some other statuary that we will likely pick up in the future. The selection of statues, birdbaths, and fountains is unlike anything I have seen elsewhere. You want a pagoda statue? I think I saw about 20 in an array of sizes. Horses? Aliens? Gnomes? Sasquatch? Windmills? Cats? Dogs? Birds? Frogs? Golf balls? Check and check. There's even a crashed alien spaceship statue. We spent an hour just looking around, with smiles on our faces the whole time. Can't wait to return! read more
