What really stood out, though, wasn't just the quality of the work, it was the communication. It was clear, transparent, and consistent before, during, and even after the project. That level of professionalism is surprisingly rare in the home improvement industry. I own a house that was built in 1887, and over the past eight years I've hired countless companies for projects including a new deck, porch, fencing, painting, paver installation, and just about everything else you can think of. One of the most frustrating parts of working with companies in this industry is the lack of organization and communication. They're usually quick to collect the deposit, but after that you're left constantly following up for project start dates, updates, and progress. Working with Lisa was the complete opposite. Overall, they are very knowledgeable and thorough . They designed a plan for me and then fully executed . The workers showed up and executed the plan beautifully. Everyone knew what needed to be done and was prepared. Angel , the designer, showed up on site to inspect and supervise . This team is very professional, knowledgeable and well trained . These are not lawn service guys who can also do some plantings for you . They are experts. Having said that , they are also very expensive . The materials and the labor are all expensive . So much do that I had to break my plan into 3 phases . I used a more economical company for a job earlier in the year and felt that company did not give me good advice and I will probably have to re- do that job this summer . With Wheaton Nurseries you will pay a lot , but your project will be well done . I have no complaints about the work or the materials and will look forward to using them again for phase 3 of my project this summer .
