Moved a couple shrubs that were completely blocking a sprinkler head, graveled and edged around a couple trees that were difficult to mow, and installed some pavers in the back yard. How can this place charge so much and put in flowering shrubs and flowers they should know won't do well in the sun area they face? How shady! We spent so much for a "natural edge" - junk And flowers that are dying each year from way too much sun. I would not recommend this company to ever cut my grass. I have been watching for over 6 months, 2 guys cutting grass by the stripe mall near my house. They do an awful job. Looks like none of their blades are sharp. It doesn't even cut the grass.Grass always looks as if it was never cut.I have caught them relaxing in their truck before they even start to mow. And caught them sitting on the mower on their cell phones.They never pick up the trash. They just run over cans, glass, clothing, plastic bags and even the flags put out there by the utilities companies. Walking dogs or children playing makes this a dangerous and harmful situation. This was my first purchase and probably my last. I was looking for butterfly bushes and they were the only place I could find them. I called and had Louise put 2 plants aside for my pick up. My friend was taking her husband to a doctor near their location and said she'd pick them up... after calling to let them know my friend would be picking them up. When picking up the plants I found my friend had been charged $10.00 more that I was told. The difference was in the size pot. Apparently, the cashier doesn't know that the plants prices are based on pot size! She rang up the largest first and duplicated the prices... causing the over charge! My friend didn't know she was being over charged. To resolve the over-charge they wanted my friends credit card to credit the card back. Since I had already reimbursed my friend that wouldn't work. Finally, they agreed to reimburse me the overcharge.. yesterday I found the same plants at Lowes in Bloomington for the cheaper price! read more

We bought some burning bushes, they were a good size and 1/2 the price I've paid for smaller burning bushes. Wife's happy, so I'm happy. We'll be going back to get a few more. read more

Im not sure what happen to this traditional Morris business, but in my opinion I'd ask the three stooges to do my landscaping first. I ask for a quote for a revamp of my curb appeal, a simple stone border, take out and replace some plants and srubs. 2 weeks and 5 phone calls and messages later they finally contacted us, with a $75 plan that they completely came up with and had very little input on my side. For that price I'd think youd get a computer layout, maybe even a 3d image of the landscaping. We looked at a pencil and graph paper drawing. On top of that it was basically unchangeable and was an outrageous $6,000. When we ask for something more along our likes. We where abruptly told we that we wouldn't mesh well with this company, they withdrew the quote and basically fired us. They where not rude, they where insulting, and made my wife and I feel humiliated for asking for something against their plan. After all I'm footing the bill youd think I could get plants I wanted. What i got was a place I will never do business with again. So much for keeping it local. read more

When I went there two summers ago, they had a great selection of annuals and they were very good quality. Last summer when I went, the selection was smaller and the quality not quite so good. read more
