The front office staff are kind, friendly and efficient. The wait times are typically shore and more than reasonable for an urgent care. At our recent visit, The closed mindedness of the Physician Assistant (Morgan) was beyond disappointing. I have experienced this every time.. The PAs know what they know, and that's all they want to know... They write the RX and that's the extent of their abilities... To top off this experience, Morgan didn't even return to the room to give the discharge instructions... she sent someone else in the room. Hmmm, unable to communicate with a mom who was a RN and is somewhat knowledgeable?? A very interesting experience...... read more

Convenient Med is only an adjective without meaning in front of med. They allow you to save your spot online. However, if walk/ins have been waiting over an hour they take them first. I waited over 2 hours. 2 people were in the waiting room when I checked in. Thru went before me(must have been there before me, right?). If I could give it negative stars I would- don't waste your time. It is the opposite of Convenient. I had an issue with a prescription they wrote, and the office does not take phone calls, I was on hold for 25 minutes then it went to voicemail. Since they do not take phone calls, I have had to go there 3 times to try to rectify the issue. I was given a flippant uncaring attitude. Ww brought a 2 year old foster child for care of a wound and they wuldn't see us! We have our "paper" on our phone as we always have.. They insisted on paper verification ... all our paper copies are just that... copies! We had ID and the child's insurance card They wouldn't care for a child! The process was easy, it was a quick check in at this location. I would suggest checking in online first to save more time. I will say I checked in and it said 1:20 online but I didn't end up going in until about 1:40. The office ladies were very nice and the location is super clean. It takes a lot for me to seek out a Dr. I have not had health insurance for a very long time and because of this is, I usually try most of the home remedies and over the counter meds before I pony up and go pay the extreme medical fees they charge. This being said, I have had a full blown sinus infection (neon green snot and intense sinus pressure) which has produced a deep phlegmy cough as it drains into my chest, since tue July 20th. Over the years my sinus infections last 2/3days, with lots of rest, fluids, and some vitamins, I usually see results and get better quickly. That was not the case this time and by mon july 26th I decided to seek a professional opinion. I had to call out of work and my manager recommended ConvenientMD in Bedford. He said it was $45 intake fee, he was wrong. The intake process was a nightmare in its own way, as 2 other patients bum rushed the door ahead of me and I had to repeat myself to 3 separate clinicians while a child screamed violently behind me. Only to pay $150 and be told to go to CVS and get Sudafed. They did take my blood pressure and temperature, asked if I wanted a COVID test and when I asked if it was included in the $150 I already paid, the nurse said she didn't know. So I declined and opted to get the free one the state offers. She listened to my lungs (which didn't sound as phlegmy since the Muncinex I had taken that morning had already kicked in) and she watched me fill several tissues with my illuminous snot as I relayed how much pain my sinuses and teeth were now giving me. Sarah Leslie PA-C told me I had to show signs of a viral infection for 10days before I could be prescribed an antibiotic. She offered me a prescription that I can't fill until this sat July 31st and told me the best I could do was to go to CVS get some Sudafed and take ibuprofen as needed for the pain and get plenty of rest. Well it's day 9, 2 boxes of tissues later, an entire box of Sudafed (2 every 4 hrs makes life tolerable), more ibuprofen than I have consistently taken in my life, and I'm still not better! I've never been so excited to pick up antibiotics in my life... thanks for making me wait ConvenientMD! read more

2015 The chilly reception from the first woman that took my insurance card was forgotten as soon as Bill (technician) brought me into the room and then I saw the doc. All in all, an excellent experience. 38 minutes from the time I walked in the door. The doctor was awesome. He was knowledgeable with a great bedside manner. Will definitely use again! 2020 That review as 5 years ago when they opened as a business. My family has gone there many times. The experiences have been mixed. One time they misdiagnosed my son's broken foot as a sprain. They also misdiagnosed my sister-in-law. She had shingles, but they missed it completely. It took a visit to her primary care for the correct diagnosis. Today however (11-16-20) I have had the worst experience imaginable and that is why I am revising my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. The easiest way to convey what happened is to give a timeline. I wanted to get a COVID test because I just returned from multiple countries in Asia. My wife spoke with a neighbor and sherecommended Convenient MD for a COVID test as the process for her was good. The process for me was arguably THE WORST I have witnessed in my adult life. The following is how I attempted to get a test today- spoiler alert, I have not been tested yet...! I logged into the Convenient MD at 8 AM this morning. The website recommends to use the virtual pre-registration form to make an appointment. For approximately 2 hours I was unable to get the form as it was "unavailable". Just after 10 AM I was allowed to fill out the form. Very little information is asked on the form and even less information is given after filling it out with what to expect. No e-mail came so I just decided to wait for a call. I put my phone down for 5 minutes and as luck would have it, I received a message at 1:13 pm. The 13 second message not informative. Basically, it just told me to call the toll-free number. No information what it was for. I called the number three times and was on hold for just under 2 hours. When the rep picked up the phone, she was great. I explained the aforementioned and she apologized and told me that I need to have a virtual appointment with a doc and following that I will be given an appointment for a test. She continued stating that I was 4th in the queue and to expect a text within an hour and to just "click" on the link when I receive a text and it would open a "zoom" type app. I understood and thanked her. I received an e-mail at 3:10 pm telling me that I had an appointment at 3:40. It read as follows: "Your confirmed approximate visit time is 03:40 PM on Nov 16, 2020. NOTE: Please be on time or your visit time will not be guaranteed. The visit time you've requested is an approximate time only." At 4:54 PM I decided they were not going to call. I called back the original number. I waited on hold for just over an hour. Kristen was the rep. I explained the aforementioned again. She was empathetic, but said she had been through something similar. Her only option was to put me back in the queue. She had no idea how long that would be. I requested to be called by a manager as it had rose to the level of absurd as I had been trying to figure out how to test for 9 hours at the point. She told me the she sent a message to her manager (Ryann Walters) and that I could expect a call. I thanked her and told her that if I did not get a call by 7 pm that I would just go in person. At 7 pm I drove to the Bedford location. I explained the aforementioned again to the receptionist. She, too was empathetic. She was not surprised as the system has been anything but smooth. At 704 PM she told me that I would not be able to be seen by 8 PM (closing time) and that my best option was to return at 8 AM tomorrow. After 12 hours I was no further then when I started. I would have preferred a busy signal. Everything has been tough during COVID, but this is a whole new level of terrible. I propose a name change- INCONVENIENT MD!!!! read more

I had been going to this location for the last 6 years for DOT Physicals. They always get my blood pressure wrong. They say it's way too high then you have to go to a real doctor to find out what your blood pressure actually is. The nurse, Brenda Karibian, that does your exam is not a nice person. She is extremely rude and walks right out of the exam room while you're talking to her. I've been reading a lot of the experiences from other people and it seems like this location is one you should stay away from. I'm certainly never going back. Jim B. read more

I was referred to ConvenientMD by TNAA, my travel agency. I'm so happy they chose this clinic for my employee physical. From the front desk personnel all the way to my nurse and NP, they all made me feel welcomed and cared for. I would recommend them to anyone. Another advantage is you can get your Labcorp lab work performed at this clinic. Wish I had known that before I scheduled both! You can't go wrong here! I am reviewing as I am still waiting. Have been here over an hour and a half. There may have been a lot of people in the parking lot. But the waiting room was pretty empty. Took over an hour to just been seen in any way. Now after taking vitals I sit and wait for at least another 30 min. ( pending). Avoid this place. You would be better served going. On web md while your standing in Walgreens. At any point I expect to see I am on some bad reality show. Update. At the 2 hour mark I walked out. This place is a joke. I went here in 2018 when I had pneumonia symptoms. I told the doctor I had pneumonia 4 times before and the last time I had double pneumonia and did not want to go through that scare again. She listened to me and although my lungs didn't sound that bad she trusted due to my prior experiences. She prescribed me the antibiotics and I was very thankful. Due to this fast and understanding experience I brought my daughter in recently for stomach pains. They were very kind and it was a great experience once again. I went to the convenient MD here in Bedford today, and walked in to a screen on the wall that told me my wait time. I was said 18-23 minutes until I would be seen. I sat there for 50 minutes before I was called back. I went in because I have a sinus infection and wanted some medicine as I am going on a family vacation in two days. I am already frustrated that I have waited this long but I go through the intake where I have my vitals taken and temperature. The woman who took my vitals just kept saying "tell the doctor when you see her." She brought me to the room and 10 minutes later the doctor some in. I have been waiting longer than an hour now and the first thing she says is "I hear you are going on vacation, but you also have a sinus infection. Unfortunately we can't treat those unless they last longer than 10-12 days. But have fun on your vacation!" I wanted to cry. I wish that they used the money for those TVs that tell you when you will be seen (that are incorrect) to get some better doctors. read more

Friendly staff but stay away from this facility because they over charge! I went in for removal of some ear wax and received a bill for $233.67. What a ripoff! Called their billing department and was told that someone would get back to me the next day. I had to make three calls before someone finally called me back. Turns out I got charged for a possible ear infection which I didn't even have or go in for and was charged for seeing a provider to remove ear wax. So much for triage! Next time I will go to a drugstore clinic and pay one fifth of the cost for the same medical issue. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. I went there with a cold, and ended up $7,000.00 in debt. I told the person when she came unglued about Bigeminy, that my doctor told me this was normal for me. She said, " No doctor would tell you that!" They wouldn't let me drive, called an ambulance ($1900.00), and took me to an emergency room. Of course I was a admited, and after they ran tests, the doctor said, "We looked at previous records, and it's been noted before, that Bigeminy is normal for you." Really? If the person can make that bad of a call, and not even listen to me, how well do you think they are going to diagnose your symptoms. Run, don't walk away from this location. I took my one and half year old there as she had a high fever throughout the night. After examination and the PA seeing fluid in her ears I was told it was just a virus and this particular virus was causing such a high temp (after telling them she never gets fevers with colds). I was told to give her Benadryl to help drain the fluid from her ears. Two days later she continued to spike high fevers so I took her into her primary care and was she had a double ear infection and fluid in her lung which turned into pneumonia. Several doctors visits later with antibiotics and nebulizer treatments later she is finally doing better. I will never take her back or anyone in my family for that matter! I do not recommend them as they have no pediatric knowledge! read more

Great experience here! The whole process was quick and easy. Check in was a breeze, the nurse who took my medical history, vitals and my symptoms was very kind but thorough. The doctor had a good sense of humor but honest. It was also great that he offered me their $15 prescription but also noted that I could get it for cheaper if I went to my pharmacy (I did, but a nice option to know about). I don't know if it's just this facility or all urgent care facilities. But I have been sick for two weeks. I know my body and knew I needed antibiotics the first time I went there but they wouldn't give it to me because they said I did not have a fever. I told them I did have a fever but I had taken Motrin to bring it down. The next day I was still miserable and called and begged them for antibiotics but they would not budge. A week later, I am still sick, still running a fever, and I called them again. They said I had to be re-seen. But they are going to charge me again. They said even my primary care physician would charge me again. I said no they would just call in the prescription. The problem is my primary is an hour away because I just moved. She said well your PC doctor knows you. I said you just saw me a week ago so technically you know me now too. But if I am re-seen I am treated like a new patient again. So what is the purpose of these urgent care facilities? They can't really do anything to help you feel better. They just want to make money. I will ONLY go to a real doctor from now on. read more
