I'll start with a little info about me, I hate going to the dentist and avoided going at all costs, in fact I hadn't been in over 7 years, continually putting it off for fear of being judged! I guess you could call me a dental delinquent! Thanks to some not so gentle encouragement from my fiancee I finally agreed to go to her dentist after she explained how non-judgy they are here and she was 100% correct! I have seen both Dr. Bhargava and Dr. Telang here and they are both incredibly friendly (and non-judgmental) about your teeth! Dr. Telang explained in great detail all of the stats she was discussing with the hygenist as well as explaining in easy terms what you need to do. The hygenists here are also very friendly and gentle, despite needing to use many of the little hooks I had very little discomfort or pain! One final bonus is that they will deal directly with insurance if you have it, eliminating the hassle of having to deal with insurance companies yourself!

My dentist Dr Lysik has been wonderful, and all the hygienists and reception staff are very friendly and helpful. I have had regular dental cleanings, fillings and teeth molds & exams performed here and have been happy with everything! They also take direct insurance billing, which is amazing as well! No need to submit your claims after the appointment. Amid this pandemic, I have always felt safe coming here for dental work. The hygienist was super friendly and spoke French and English which was appreciated. Dr. Utovac was nice & clear in his comments. I sensed that the prices might be expensive but it is in a prime location and if you have insurance, it shouldn't matter too much. I booked a 2nd appointment six months from now and while I can't say I'm looking forward to it, so far, it is better than my previous dentist.

Recently I went on a hunt to look for a good dentist in Ottawa and I happen to luck out since its…read moreclose to my work and the best one I've ever had (out of 4). I am of course speaking off Susan Daftary and her amazing staff, at the Terry Fox Dental Centre. I was having sharp pain in one of my tooth so I walked into the clinic and I got an examination the same day. Two days later Dr Daftary was playing tug o' war with my wisdom tooth and well the tooth lost. Dr Daftary is very polite and takes her time to explain everything to the patient. As far as skill goes, she is absolutely amazing. I felt no pain in getting my wisdom tooth removed and I was back at work 10 minutes after my procedure. She is also very knowledgeable and will go out of her way to accommodate the patient. I wish I could say I won't be going back but I think that's just wishful thinking. At least I know that when I return, I'll be in good hands.
