We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The service was attentive and timely. The red wine recommendation (not on the menu) was superb - lovely, lovely wine. The food was "real food" not packaged warm ups. We enjoyed both entrees very much: veal cannelloni and carbonara. There was a good variety of items from which to choose. We sat on the outdoor patio as the evening was lovely. There are heaters there should the evening be cooler. We came in on Wednesday September 9 for my husbands birthday, and did not have a reservation. It was pretty busy, the owner ( blond woman I read an article when searching restaurants) sat us down outside , kind of behind the door. We got the menu about 5 min later, but it took over 20 min before the waiter came, and we had to ask twice to say we wanted to order, and no one has come by. Finally the waiter came, and brought us waters and walked away, we were going to order drinks.he never came back , until we asked again. He finally came and we ordered and it took FOREVER! There was a couple of guys who was sitting beside us and told us they had the same problem with the waiter, in that he walks away! They gave him a cheap tip too and the waiter gave them attitude. When we got the food, it was very luke warm :(. Not very good service at all! If it was the kitchen 's fault , ok, but the waiter didn't come by and apologize, or give us any bread or maybe comp something? I hope they get rid of this totally flaky Sandy haired tall waiter! And serve the dishes faster. And make their customers feel special! They need improvements! read more
