The store is a used bookstore perfectly located across the street from the college. It specializes in selling (and buying) textbooks for the college courses offered nearby. In addition to the textbooks, they carry non-fiction and fiction books (mystery, sci-fi, romance, etc.). The non-texts on the shelves are neatly arranged by category and alphabetically by author. In addition to books, they have some quick study guides, lab coats, and notebook binders, among other things that a student might find useful. Oh, and they even had a section of children's books, too. After browsing a bit through the titles just to make sure we hadn't missed anything, we left without buying anything. But we were glad we'd stopped in to see what they have so we'd know.

For example some courses the books are way more expensive if they are book version. But the class I was taking was only $10 difference between virtual and loose page version. The employees was very helpful and showed me where it was located. The line had 5 people infront me and took a long time getting checked out. Wished they had check out service or something else. But the employees are nice. Yes getting materials are expensive but spending money on bettering your life is sometimes needed. Overall a good experience.

Note: I went to use the restroom and as I approached an older gentleman asked me if I had the Code for the Men's bathroom. I looked at the door and saw a cipher lock installed and a sign advising you had to enter the Code at the bottom of your receipt. Myself and the gentleman before me had not purchased anything as we were still browsing books in the store. Is this something new at Barnes & Noble, or just being implemented at this location?! Their selection is great, they have a wide assortment of new vinyl and some great used vinyl as well. I picked up a used live Kansas double LP for $8, a very fair price. I also bought a special 2 LP edition of Nirvana Bleach with a 1990 concert, Operation Ivy - Energy and the Minor Threat LP. All prices were either at market or slightly below. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I also liked that they had a listening station where you could check out used stuff. Overall, a very solid five stars. All the records were well organized and the prices seemed in line with what's available online perhaps a bit lower depending on what record you were looking for. Also the staff was very friendly and more than willing to help if we couldn't find something and even offered us some free stickers with our purchase!
