What a great hidden gem on WPB. There is so much vinyl it's a bit overwhelming (in the best way). Everything was by category with used and new vinyls. Easy to spend sometime browsing with a nice size and bright store. It's well organized and a nice full selection of any type of music you may enjoy. Can't wait to come back !!

Love this place. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The selection is awesome with tons of great new and used vinyl, and it's all well curated. Always feels like I find something unexpected and at a great price.

Rust and Wax Record Shop is everything a record store should be, warm, welcoming, and packed with personality. The selection is insane, from classic soul and jazz to obscure funk and local indie finds, they've got crates you'll want to dig through for hours. The staff actually knows their stuff and gives great recommendations without being pushy. The vibe is chill, nostalgic, and creative, you can tell it's run by people who truly love music. Bonus points for the clean layout and fair prices.

The best thing I've found in a long time. It's a very relaxed place, they always have the best selections here and the staff is very helpful. You can find just about shaver you're into at very good price. I recommend music lovers to give this place a try since I like to physically hold the music in my hands.

    Excellent haul

Stopped in driving from Miami to Melbourne. A few friends recommended it as a good shop for what I'm after (90s to current punk ie Fat Wreck Chords and Epitaph type stuff). They had a pretty small section but it was excellently stocked and prices were pretty reasonable. Most of what I was looking at seemed to be standard black distro copies, but that was ok with me. Would love to go back someday again.

This record store day was a success !! I showed up fairly late yet I walked away stoked with my findings and with new friends!! You can feel the sense of community oozing from rust and wax and it's owners and staff that work so hard to put it all together for us to enjoy, thank you for a wonderful day!!

Raptis Rare Books specializes in rare, antique, and first edition books. As a young child, Matt Raptis had a deep love of history which led him into a future career of collecting and selling rare books. In 2016 Matt and Adrienne Raptis moved from Vermont to open their rare book business on Worth Avenue. In 2021 they moved to the gallery space they currently occupy on Worth Avenue next in Via Roma and in 2022, Raptis Rare Books purchased The Harcourt Bindery, the oldest and largest book bindery in the United States. The couple once purchased for $1 a signed first edition of "Catcher in the Rye" near author J.D. Salinger's home which they sold for $80,000. Other rare books that have been in their collection include an original 1859 copy of Charles Darwin "The Origin of Species" and an original printing of "The Cat in the Hat" inscribed by Dr. Seuss. Books in their collection have influenced generations and shaped history and culture. The books here are worth thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. In addition to selling individual books the couple will consult with rare book collectors to help them to build their libraries. In an increasingly digital age it is nice to see that books are still valued in our society.
