But, their measurement was like 160/110, which is high, but also inaccurate. So, I left. My internist measured it a couple months ago at 114/82. I measured it when I got home, and it was 128/73. I'm compliant with my bp meds and took them this morning. My advice to Hedrick Family Dentistry and Dr. Chen specifically is to learn how to properly measure bp on big and tall patients.

Finally make it to the back after 45 min of waiting in the lobby, the lady that said she would be doing my xrays was in and out because she was busy. She finally came in rushing to take the xrays, she was shoveling the instrument down my throat, she took about 15 Pics, I said you don't have enough yet. She told me my tongue keeps moving the instrument and she is extremely busy, and if I have an issue I would need to reschedule. The issue I had was that your office overbooked and now you are rushing and taking your frustration out on me. The Manager came back and asked if I was having issues and did I need to reschedule. Ok, I understand that, but WHY wasn't I informed of this initially? Had an unexpected bill that I wasn't prepared to pay! *Note to the staff, please make sure that your patients are aware of the services provided before they are rendered*! Needless to say, I have a "bad taste" in my mouth about Honey Creek Dental right now! Just left so I went back into my text from the office and found out that I did confirm my appt so I decided to go back to the office and show the front office manager my text and she proceeded to say. She received my text confirmation but earlier she stated that appt was canceled due to appt was not confirmed so she proceeded to tell me that it was because she couldn't verify my insurance but the day I scheduled my appointment she told me if I could not bring my insurance card that she could verify my insurance the day of my appt. I mentioned this to her and she stated I would have NEVER TOLD YOU THAT but she also told me the reason she cancelled my appt was because she couldn't verify my insurance. The LiESssss. A Grade A experience…read more Starting first with the Office Manager, Sheryl. Very personable and communicative. Warm on the phone and even more so in person--genuinely kind and clearly and simply informed of the process for treatment. Next, Dental Hygienist, Melissa. Her singing was enchanting--completely eased my stress! We just hit it off well! Now on to the X-rays and cleaning. She was great with placement if the bitewings for the X-rays. Nothing hurt! She listened to my concerns regarding my sensitive teeth. I walked away with the most thorough cleaning which included deep-scaling. She covered every cm of my teeth and gums--no shortcuts with Melissa. Finished with photos of each tooth and handed me over to Dr. Gowasack. Dr. Gowasack has a relaxed disposition which made me feel comfortable. He talked to me--not at me. Asked if I had any concerns and addressed them. He was diligent about educating me on my condition of my teeth and offered suggestions with options. Worth noting is that there was a feeling of camaraderie and respect among the team. You can't fake that! I'm looking forward to my next visit to get a new permanent crown installed using more flexible material. I left the office feeling 100% satisfied, unlike my previous visits with chain dental centers.

They always remember whats been going on in my life and are happy to see me. They really treat me more like a friend then a client. Every time I go I noticed one or two improvements over my last visit. But that not to say that anything was ever lacking. It just seems like they work hard to have the best employees,equipment and procedures. For example this last visit they upgraded to a system which uses snake camera in order to take pictures. It is very very nifty! The camera feed is uploaded real time to a monitor right over head so that both the hygienist and the patient can see what is going on with your teeth, gums etc... I really like this new feature because it makes me so much more comfortable to be able to see clearly exactly what my dentist is explaining to me about the inside of my own mouth! Just recently Dr, Gowasack moved his office into a joint office with Dr. Kerr Wayne (E DDS). I will link this review to his business also because both doctors share the same equipment, and many of the same staff. I can not personally speak for Dr. Kerr but I absolutely would recommend either Dentist. They are superb and really treat you like family here. I have to say not having met Dr. Kerr I like him already. His office is very very nice. It has nice blue ocean/sea/beach decor every where. Pretty fish line the shelves and the bathroom is even decked out with beautiful sea shell decorations. The Lobby has very nice comfortable couches and even has a keurig coffee machine!! If you are anywhere near Conyers I recommend this Dentistry 300 percent! If I am willing to drive almost forty minutes to have someone dig around in my mouth, then that is saying something. I always leave with a smile, and a clean one at that!!

I would not recommend this place at all. They change the name so you won't be able to identify them as family dentistry at Stonecrest to avert anyone knowing about their poor customer service record.
