First of all Gala who runs the office is a pleasure to work with. The hygienist whose name I forgot (sorry!) was extremely thorough yet gentle and genuinely interested in my concerns. Dr Brassell himself is very personable and tolerant of my questions after doing my "research" aka googling bridges vs implant. And the first dentist in a long time who didn't immediately pressure me to sign up for treatment. I live in Decatur and it was a little drive but well worth it! Think I found my new dentist.

I was not willing to send my children alone so that increased the wait time until a parent left from back there. They did help with my daughter(4) who did a lot of screaming and sent us in the back which increased our wait even more. Some of the hygienist don't seem to like children tho so they should work with adults. Appointment was at 2:20 , I left around 4:00 , the process that we went through I should've been out by 3:20 really. They have to get the time lots under control.

He cares about you as a patient. He's not a dentist who comes in and talks at you. He actually knows you as a patient and his staff do their best to get o know you as well. I also like the televisions in each of the exam rooms. If you're like me, going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing to do, so if you do have extensive procedures --like I did, you won't be bored or thinking too much about the procedures. The "dentist" and her helper did not work well together at all. Neither one ever knew what the other one was trying to do, it seemed like it was their first day on the job. Will never go back and advise you to go ANYWHERE else. I have since gone back to my regular dentist and pay out of pocket to get a good experience.
