We found Cook'n With Class on the web and signed up for the bread making class which we took on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. Constance and Pino walked us through every step to make bagettes, broche, and facaccia breads. The techniques and the "kitchen science" behind them gave me more insight than my 15 years of making most of our bread products using recipes from the web. I've seen nothing like their techniques on the web, and there is nothing like watching, then doing with the watchful eye of experts! They answered every question and explained every step. They used ingredients that we can get in the U.S. and advised which ones to buy. Frankly, when my wife and I signed up for the class, I thought it a little pricey (I'm cheap!), but after the half day with the pros, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. This was our first trip to Paris. The history is tremendous, but the bread making class allowed us to connect with Paris in a unique way. We've told our friends who are travel agents that they must include info about Cook'n With Class opportunities to give their clients an estraordinary experience they'll never forget! We just wish we could have taken the desserts class and the macaroon class! Next time we come, we'll do them! In short, sign up for the class (or a couple of classes) as a couple. We had an absolutely wonderful cooking class with Chef Sarah! She taught our family how to make croissants and pain au chocolat from scratch, and it was an experience we'll never forget. Sarah was incredibly patient, engaging, and knowledgeable. She was especially fantastic with our two girls (ages 7 and 9), making sure they were involved every step of the way while keeping the class fun and interactie.. She struck the perfect balance between teaching technique and creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. The instruction was clear, hands-on, and easy to follow, and we learned so much about the art of laminated pastry. Best of all, we left with delicious croissants and pain au chocolat that we were proud to have made ourselves. If you're looking for a memorable family activity or want to learn authentic French baking from a talented and encouraging chef, we can't recommend Chef Sarah highly enough. We recently had the pleasure of attending a class on Croissant baking, taught by Chef Sarah, and it was an experience that truly delighted the senses. The small class size and warm inviting kitchen provided a wonderful environment to delve into the traditions and techniques of pastry making. Chef Sarah brought the kitchen to life with her enthusiasm, passion, and excitement for teaching others, and provided knowledgeable guidance to our beginner hands as we mixed, rolled, formed and finished the dough into classic French delicacies. The smell of our creations filled the air as we waited, excitedly and giddily, for them to finish baking. The final presentation of goods was both beautiful and delicious as Chef Sarah laid out our masterpieces, ensuring we had ample to sample and take home! Fantastic, highlight of our trip! My husband and I took the market class and pastry class and enjoyed it so much. We've never done any cooking classes before and found it so much fun. The chef had so much knowledge to share. I think I asked him about 50 questions!! But I loved how we walked around the different shops at the market and learned about cheeses, fruit & veg and all the different types of meats they eat in France...oh and fish too! We cooked 3 courses and all had a great time sharing the tasks. We were so full by the end of the class. Make sure you come on an empty stomach. The pastry class was great too. Definitely recommend any of their classes. They are really friendly and all speak english which helped!! We are very happy we did these classes. read more

I had a wonderful time at this macaron cooking class. We learned how to make four delicious flavours -- caramel salé, chocolat spice, mint, and raspberry mandarine -- and every step was explained clearly and carefully. Chef Sarah was fantastic: very patient, full of useful tricks, and great at making the whole process feel approachable. Oh, and she's also very punny! Time flew by, and at the end we went home with lots of boxes of macarons, which make perfect Christmas presents. A fun, hands-on experience I'd highly recommend. read more

We enjoyed the way Pino explained how and why certain things were done and then we explored the ways to make a variety of French desserts. We enjoyed the intimate atmosphere where we could ask questions, taste as we cooked and took in what was happening. This is the second class that my family and I took at Cook'n With Class. We loved the first one so much that we went back for a second one! We did a chocolate-making class with Chef Christian and it was amazing. Chef Christian planned an incredible class for me and my family. The chocolate was delicious and it was so much fun. My adult daughter and I took the pastry class with Constance Deledalle. She was wonderful and we had a great time! There were only 5 people in the class and everyone received individual attention. The informal atmosphere invited questions. We made 5 desserts and all were delicious. We wished we had time to take another course and will definitely do so if we return to Paris. read more

We just finished a Market Class at Cook 'n With Class with Alex as our chef. It was absolutely fantastic. The market shopping was so interesting because Alex explained the cheeses, the meats, the fish and produce so that we could understand the items. Then we went to the cooking school to produce some magical food under his direction. I recommend this experience highly. read more

This was excellent. i had a great time with chef Brionny as she made the whole experience fun, interactive and simple. Cooking french desserts sometimes scares people especially me... but i found this quite easy with her simple explanations for why you do each step a certain way. She is a great chef and i will definately book again when im next in Paris. read more

I attended the "croissant en famille class" in english with my 8 year old son. We both had an amazing time. We really enjoyed learning how to make French viennoiserie, and also a mystery recipe. Our pastry chef, Sarah, was very kind and great at explaining the different steps. We went home with a bag full of treats and some great memories. read more

My daughter and I still talk about our favourite time in Paris and without a doubt it was cooking with Eric! His passion and knowledge make the experience unforgettable! We made 5 French desserts in 3 hours! I couldn't believe how well organized it was.
