We also installed new cabinets and a wine cooler while demolishing a built-in entertainment center. The bulk of the project was done in eight weeks, including two significant change requests made by us: 1. The concrete floor was cracked and very uneven. My foreman identified this issue, told us how he would repair and level it, and then spent a few days pouring a new floor and leveling it. If he didn't address this floor issue our new to be installed engineered floors would have cracked over time. 2. We decided to paint almost the entire place well into the project, so work was delayed while the painters did this new work. What was great about the project: 1. The sales process was easy and reactive. Paul visited with us a number of times and helped with all of the planning. 2. We were assigned two interior designers. I worked closely with one, and she helped me pick out new appliances that had to fit into very tight places. She even told me that the appliance sales people I'd ultimately work with would try to correct me. Her recommendations were made with surgical precision, a centimeter in some cases. It was really impressive. 3. Their demolition crew was unbelievably efficient. They took this whole place apart in about nine total hours. The cleanup was impeccable. 4. The project manager engineered the entire thing. The workers knew what needed to be done, especially when he wasn't on site. 5. I met various workers and contractors. I was shocked by how good their work product was. The flooring person was excellent and extremely prescient. All of the workers really enjoyed working together, which was reflected in their work. I think this is also a reflection on how they liked working with Holtzman. 6. After the project was complete we met with a post-project coordinator afterwards, and told us what to do if we were at all unsatisfied. 7. When Holtzman contacted us with questions we provided immediate answers. There were a lot of decision points on material items, which I was happy to answer so the project stayed on course and details weren't skipped over. Every detail was addressed, and it shows. We have more projects in the works, and we expect to be working with Holtzman.

We were so happy with the outcome we referred them to my brother in law. He was very happy as well. We recently contacted Diamond again to build a brand new cabinet in our master water closet and install granite on niches throughout our home. The gentlemen who came to our house to install were nothing but courteous and efficient. From day one until the end Tina was always very responsive and friendly! The final product is amazing!!! Misleading, Overpriced, and Deeply Unethical Experience I…read morespent $8,592 on three slabs of countertops from Diamond Granite, and it turned into one of the worst contracting experiences I've ever had. The slabs I received were poor quality, the color was completely off from what was advertised, and every concern I raised was dismissed instead of addressed. Danny was the one who pushed me hard to choose Carrara Breeze, insisting it was their most popular install. But the moment I made the initial payment, he disappeared. I later learned from Daniel, the owner, that Danny was in Hawaii on "another job." During installation Day, I raised concerns about my slabs having a brownish tint instead of the clean white Carrara Breeze shown on Arizona Tile's website. Daniel (who had now become my new point of contact) told me that "all Carrara Breeze slabs are different" and that I basically needed to accept what I got. The message was clear: my complaints didn't matter, and I should stop questioning the product. Then came the pricing shock. I later found out from a reliable source that their sale price for Carrara Breeze is around $650 per slab, yet I was charged $2,865 per slab. That's an extreme markup, and at no point was I given transparent pricing or honest guidance. As a woman navigating this process alone, I felt taken advantage of at every turn. The tone shifted the moment payment was made -- suddenly every question was met with defensiveness, blame, or references to "paperwork" instead of actual customer service. I left every interaction feeling unheard, dismissed, and pressured. If you are a single woman or someone without contracting experience, please be cautious. My experience made it clear that this company does not prioritize fairness, transparency, or ethical treatment. Once they have your money, you're on your own. I will forever regret choosing Diamond Granite for my countertop installation. I later learned about Ready Renovations & Remodeling LLC, who have an excellent reputation and handle everything with professionalism and integrity. I wish I had known about them sooner. Think twice before contacting Diamond Granite. I hope my experience helps someone else avoid the stress, financial loss, and frustration I went through. I will not emphasize this enough, PLEASE do your research before you hire these guys. They are absolutely scammers and will charge you 3x the amount. While some imperfections that originated from the home builder surfaced, the solution was to adapt and modify, not start over from scratch. In the last 24 months I've needed to hire a building contractor twice. This last time was…read moreespecially stressful because it came after a leak with mold remediation. After hiring a contractor for that (remediation) and having a third party independent testing company test, to be sure the mold was gone, I was ready to rebuild. I interviewed 3 contractors, (one recommended by the remediation company and 2 others I found on my own). To be honest this whole process is not fun, in short, it's homeowners hell. Quentin and Urban Elements stood out above the other 2 contractors for the following reasons: Quick and professional response. He answered all my questions, when I asked about something he had missed (my wall was down to the wall studs and covered in plastic so it was hard to see), he took another look and had an answer within 24 hours. One of the contractors I did NOT hire didn't even know his ROC#, and took days just to let me know his company's license number. In addition the communication was great and Quentin was always available by text and responded quickly. When I did sign with Urban Elements the contract was clear: timeline, payment schedule and completion. They adhered to everything in writing. (Contrast that to a contractor who wanted me to agree to abide by the laws of Texas, when I live in Arizona.) Additionally Quentin assured me that every subcontractor who worked on my house would be licensed. There were several subcontractors and everyone who came, was a true pro, they showed up on time, were respectful and did a great job. I honestly hope I never have to rebuild a room again but Quentin made a truly stressful experience 100% better and I feel fortunate to have found him. Lastly his bids were competitive with the other 2 bids I received.

What i found during this process was price gauging from so many other contractors until i found Quentin from Urban Element. Quentin gave me confidence that he could do the job in under 5 weeks and on budget. Quentin communicated with me weekly and gave me progress reports/photos and never once asked for more money then what we had originally agreed on.
