Peanut butter, m&m, white chocolate shamrock

I love this cookie place. I have loved every flavor I have tried. Each cookie is $1.75 and they will box them up for you. They make great gifts. I ordered a dozen and half for my co-workers, they also loved them. The peanut butter was pretty good, it's topped with chocolate and peanuts, making a soft and smooth cookie with just the right amount of salt.

WOW these cookies are delicious - so worth coming out here just for the cookies :) Such a wide variety to choose from as well!

A lovely little local bake shop with cookies only. Pros: cute little store. Lots of cookies. Lots of variety. Cute wrapping of the cookies. Local shop. DELICIOUS cookies. They suggested the florentines. They were so satisfying it was insane. Cute seasonal cookies. Cons: $1.75 per cookie. No discount for buying a dozen. My recommendation: this is a great idea for a $20 gift for anyone.

I stopped in after dropping a box off at UPS nearby and I am glad I did. What a treat. I had the pecan shortbread, chocolate chip, and o think chocolate chip shortbread. Each one was great! The texture was great. They didn't crumble to pieces as I bit into them. They have many varieties of cookies and I will definitely go back again to pick these up along with a few others. The young lady at counter was knowledgeable. I read on their website that a few area restaurants and stores also carry cookie Time Bakery Cookies.

Cookie Time's SUPERB birthday cake sandwich. The frosting is exactly as fluffy as those little air bubbles suggest.

I can tell you from the very first sample that these folks do cookies RIGHT. Seriously. How right? Well, I'm a frosted cake enthusiast, so the obvious choice was Cookie Time's unassuming, lovely little birthday cake sandwich cookie. And I loved it just as much as cake! The buttery external cookies were crisp in the PERFECT way, somehow providing the same satisfaction as the richest, chewiest sugar cookie. Salt balance? On point. Texture? Ethereal. Flavor? Rich, vanilla heaven. And that FILLING! This, folks, was a super fluffy, if not downright whipped, vanilla frosting. Cake-worthy. Again, ethereal. And almost, almost the slightest touch cream cheesy(?), which provided yet another wonderful flavor meld with everything else. In fact, it was up there with Danish Pastry House's red velvet cake frosting, which is a true experience to behold if you're ever in Medford. As an added bonus, they even dipped the darn thing in something like white chocolate. Boom. Arlington Heights, I will be back. I regret not taking home a huge stash of Cookie Time cookies to sample here in Colorado!

The remaining 6. They will not last long!

They have the classic tea options along with smoothies, fruit juices and several decaf options which is great since my bf is trying to avoid caffeine drinks. Both drinks had the perfect amount of ice and boba. What a treat! The service was quick and there is an option to order on the flat screen or in person. The first time I went I was surprised to find all four available flavors contain chocolate: it was chocolate, a peanut butter chocolate, almond chocolate, and some kind of cookie with chocolate. Pretty laughable if you don't like chocolate, which was exactly what I did when I left empty handed. I got lucky today and was able to see strawberry on the menu. Unfortunately it was given to me with brown streaks which clearly meant the scoop used was not cleaned before they served me. I don't expect a deep clean but at least rinse the dang utensil, couldn't you? When I walked in I did see an employee pick out random stray toppings that fell into the other cups with his bare hands and then pop them into his mouth as a snack. Not a great experience and unfortunately the taste also didn't redeem my visit either.

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.

I think great concept, but execution wasn't quite there. And maybe I just got unlikely with the item I ordered. I got the breakfast wrap which was an assortment of roasted veggies (think squash, broccoli, eggs) in the wrap. This was certainly unorthodox, but I wasn't opposed to it. I didn't really read much into it so I kind of was expecting a breakfast burrito, but got a pleasant surprise since I do like roasted veggies as well. The problem is that there was not much flavor to it and it left a lot to be desired. I think they could have done a lot more with it. Despite being underwhelmed, I will probably come here again and try something else. I just can't when their spot on the minute man is perfect and they are willing to push the envelope on breakfast wraps. So I'm hoping to up this rating one day!
