Stopped in today after a cemetery visit. I got 2 cookies, GF & her daughter got muffins.Small place with a variety of sweets & fruit smoothies. Very good stuff. On the higher price size. But places like this have to be.

Solid muffins. Friendly staff. Cute little shop! Main downside is how they've got limited parking, but they're definitely some of the best muffins I've had in a while. Would probably visit again if I'm ever in the area

Cutest little name for an adorable little spot in Winchester. The parking was no problem for me (coming from the city). The muffins were good- not outstanding but fun and yummy. The chocolate chip muffin was not as moist as the all chocolate one. I suggest getting the ones with frosting so they add some moisture. The service wasn't bad but wasn't quaint like it looks like it should be. Seems like it's trying to channel the vibe of a nice grandma's house but instead they're just like... normal... which is fine- just unexpected. I'm giving five stars because it's a local business and seems adorable for the winter. I just personally wasn't too impressed with it.

A little pricey but very yummy! Staff was friendly. Go early because it was very busy!

An absolute, amazing experience. We came here for gingerbread cookies and for smoothies. The service was outstanding! The girls here were very sweet and very nice like the cookies they serve. The place is so sweet pun intended inside has so much candy and pastries to buy from. Overall an amazing experience. Everything is so delicious. Highly recommend coming here. If you ever make a trip or are in the area.

Favorite childhood memory is eating Gingerbread Construction Co. muffins!!! Every time I visit the Boston area, I must stop by and grab a strawberry shortcake muffin -- the best! My family has probably tried every single flavor/type over the years and you seriously can't go wrong with any

Great coffee and variety of muffins! Gingerbread Construction offers so many different unique flavors for a muffin - we tried the strawberry shortcake, Boston kreme, chocolate dream, and lemon poppyseed. Our favorites were the strawberry shortcake and the lemon poppyseed. The strawberry shortcake was so light and delicious! The Boston kreme was our least favorite as it was a little dry. We can't wait to come back to try out more flavors!

I ordered the strawberry shortcake and banana cream, both were delicious. They were the fluffiest muffins!

I got inspired by watching youtube to make a jambon buerre sandwich - supposedly a popular quick sandwich for Parisians. The sandwich is half a baguette with butter and French bistro ham. I tried searching all over for the French bistro ham with no luck. The only options were online sources with expensive shipping and/or expensive minimum order sizes. Somehow I stumbled upon MA-France nearby in Arlington and they sell jambon-buerre sandwiches. It's a small shop that sells sandwiches, pastries, and a small offering of French food products. Lots of pastries and baked goods like quiche, tarts, cookies, croissants, etc. The cheese offerings were very limited and basic. I can imagine that the cheeses that they sell are the same types and brands that they use for making sandwiches. For example, they sell President brand Brie - that you can also buy at Costco and market basket. Disappointing, but understandable because they can't afford to buy more variety and more expensive offerings without a big enough client base to buy those cheeses before they go bad. Getting back to the sandwich - it was half a baguette with some thick slices of butter and two pieces of French bistro ham. The bread was kind of dense and the crust was more chewy than crispy. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to spread the butter, but if they're not selling enough sandwiches then they're probably keeping the butter in the refrigerator - making it too difficult to spread. When I got home I fixed up the sandwich to my liking. Overall, the sandwich was okay, but not good enough to make me want to go back. At least I was able to solve my hunger for the jambon buerre sandwich.

Now it's quite underwhelming. The apricot croissant is now some smaller glorified danish that has no richness or personality. The plain croissant is quite "bready" now, whereas it used to be light and buttery. I have a sneaking suspicion that they have a different croissant supplier now. What saved this spot from a lower grade is that the pain au raisin and chausson aux pommes are passable. Also a save is that they still offer various French products, from soaps to cheeses to canned goods. I have to find a new French bakery in the area.

The layout is thoughtfully arranged, and the focus is clearly on quality and presentation, making it easy to spend time browsing rather than rushing through a standard grocery run. The fresh produce is the main reason we would visit. The selection changes with the seasons, and there is always something that stands out, whether it is fruit, vegetables, or specialty items. The produce section is one of the biggest highlights, with everything arranged beautifully and a wide variety that makes shopping here feel more intentional. The bakery section is another area worth checking out, especially for breads and pastries. Items like the olive sourdough bread and seasonal baked goods are the type of things that make Wilson Farm feel more like a destination rather than just a place to buy groceries. Beyond produce, the variety is what makes the experience memorable. There are sections for meats, seafood, prepared foods, desserts, flowers, and pantry items, so it is easy to put together a full shopping trip without needing to go elsewhere. The seasonal events are also a big part of the atmosphere, especially in the fall when the pumpkin displays and decorations transform the outside of the farm into something that feels like an autumn destination. The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit, which adds to the overall experience, and the store can get busy during peak seasons, especially around fall events and weekends, so parking and navigating through the crowds may take extra patience. Prices are generally higher than a standard grocery store, but the quality and selection are what make the visit worthwhile. Wilson Farm is one of those places where grocery shopping becomes an experience. The combination of fresh food, bakery items, seasonal atmosphere, and the farm setting makes it stand out. It is a place we would visit not only for groceries but also when we want to explore and pick up something special.
