I've eaten from Cooklyn Eats several times and never had an unpleasant experience. They serve up great tasting soul food with a Caribbean flair! I recommend the salmon platter with creamy garlic sauce. It was so tasty and delicious. The cuts of salmon are very generous. The candied yams and macaroni and cheese were nothing short of amazing! I experiences ooey gooey, mac n cheesey delight! They have one of the best tasting jerk pastas in the Bronx. The prices are justified for the amount of food received. This is a good spot to go to for great tasting comfort food.

Absolutely distasteful. I am very disgusted. I order from here often and they're noticeably lazy when packaging plates but THIS took me by surprise!!! How could you serve this to someone?!? For 40$.. a damn waste.

I got the smothered chicken, baked mac & cheese, and collard greens. I literally felt like I was back in the south. They also give complimentary cornbread. The service was great. We had a really friendly waitress. She took our orders and delivered our food fast. It was also happy hour so we got really yummy drinks. The mo' money was so good. It was strong and definitely worth $10. Go for happy hour from 3 PM to 7 PM. The ambiance was nice. There's live music inside. We decided to sit outside because it was a nice day. I definitely appreciated the spot because I heard so much about it on TikTok. If you're in Harlem, definitely check this place out.

The first word I'd use to describe my meal is dry. The second is flavorless. As someone genuinely from the south, this just doesn't hit. The chicken, cornbread, mac and cheese and greens were all dry. The chicken reminded me of church's fried chicken with less flavor. The Mac and cheese was salty but not seasoned. My friend got ox tails with black eyed peas... her ox tails didn't fall off the bone and the black eyed peas seemed undercooked. I will say if you're from the south and looking for true southern cuisine this is not your place. If you want just a meal you'll be fine.

This is a takeout only place and service was prompt for me on a recent snowy Saturday afternoon. I ordered the $18 catfish and chips along with $22 eleven piece scallops. They were very generous with the fries accompanying the catfish. The fries were very good, not top flight, but very good. You can do far worse. The catfish was good, but there is competition in Harlem that puts this catfish in the rearview mirror. The batter is not as crisp and seasoned and the catfish fillet strips are a bit on the thin side. They give you about seven or eight strips, which is satisfying enough for $18, but you can do better in Harlem. The scallops were a bit more numerous that eleven pieces, probably around fourteen or fifteen pieces, but these need to be more numerous, given their teeny tiny size. You can spend $22 far more wisely here or anywhere in Harlem. They are tasty little fried scallops. If you have lemon and cocktail sauce with the radish at home, that would add to their impact considerably. However, nothing can make up for their diminutive size. Here, size matters. A Taste of Seafood offers good seafood and a clean environment with friendly service. I told them not to overcook the scallops and they did not overcook the scallops. So I give points for that discretion in the kitchen. 3.3 stars!

Seems like they can't get both services right together. ‍Thank God it wasn't the talk too much crew. The servers this day was polite & working instead of horse playing over the food. As a regular customer when im visiting during lunch break I would love to enjoy a tasty meal. So please to the owner/ chef; taste a small plate of ur food before serving. No seasoning on the yams either (cinnamon,nutmeg,syrup....NaDa)
