Came here on our way up to nearby national park and saw that they had a three-cheese panini that sounded tasty. We gave it a shot but it was basically a grilled cheese. Came with chips and a pickle. It needed some garlic or spices or spice to it. It was basically melted cheese on a sandwich. We also got the turtle cookie and the chocolate chip cookie. They were tasty. More gooey and batter-like than an actual baked cookie. We got a free coffee thanks to the Yelp check-in offer that was a-okay. All prices were very reasonable, in my opinion, but nothing was to write home about. read more

Nice little cafe and coffee shop right downtown. I shied away at first since I assumed from the name that it was just coffee, and I needed something solid, but they have a good selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. Got their "signature sandwich," chicken salad on wheat. It wasn't anything particularly different, but it was a very good version of something you might make at home. Good, hearty bread, flavorful chicken salad, fresh lettuce. Also came with good chips and a weird little savory cream cheese spread/dip (for the chips?) I also had an iced latte, which was very good. Great service. Good prices. Cool, relaxing atmosphere, with comfy booths, taller tables, woody and cozy but with big windows up front. I'll keep it in mind for next time we're in town. read more

Very nice staff. Cute location. The food was mediocre best. I ordered a Panini Cuban sandwich. It definitely was not made in a Panini machine. There was mustard all over the outside of the bread. This cafe has decent coffee conveniently in Medina Square. There's plenty of flavors to choose from; I chose almond and I liked the taste of it. The coffee wasn't overly drenched in almond syrup. The dirty chai latte was way too sweet. Overall, I would recommend others to this place for drinks, but make sure to specialize your order if needed. We also ordered food at this cafe, but I wouldn't say I loved it. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and found that the sandwich to meat ratio was off. I ripped off 1/4 of the bread in total because there was so much! Don't forget to tell them your bread preference if it is not white bread. I forgot and was not asked. I hosted an early morning meeting- with many outside people attending. The day before- I went to the Cool Beans website to order coffee, pastries, etc for pick up. The website was easy to navigate- with many choices. The next day (@ 7:00am) I stopped by to pick up- and was greeted warmly- and on my way in 2 minutes. What a great place to get a coffee. I'm in from out of town visiting family and we decided to come here for coffee. My Dad got the Mocha and I got a sugar free vanilla latte. I didn't like it. Stayed in Medina overnight on a trip to Indy. Drove into town and walked around the square and stumbled upon this amazing place. Great coffee, the breakfast sandwich on pretzel roll was outstanding. Blueberry scone, yum! On our way back home, we needed a stop for lunch and this worked out perfectly again. Veggie sub for lunch was very good. Service was fast and everyone was friendly. We go here regularly as it's convenient and open atmosphere. I like that they support local arts and allow groups to use space. Staff consistently nice and friendly. 3 Stars because I feel, for the traffic it gets, is in need of cosmetic updates. I feel it could be kept a little cleaner by the tables and sit down area. It would be nice to add some games for people to play.
