Went in here when I heard that they sell gelato. However, they had only a few flavors and it was pretty much all fruit flavors and vanilla. The gelato comes from the Gelati place in Naperville, which was sort of a disappoint. Vanilla wasn't bad but I've had better. Also got a quart of the cookie dough, cheap at $6.79, which actually fared better than the gelato, As quaint as the outside looked, the inside felt old and dusty, as if the place hadn't been cleaned or aired out. Expect to be served by high schoolers so don't count on the most attentive service. Ice cream was very good, but if you want gelato, Naperville Whole Foods is better in terms of price and flavor, which is saying something as much as I don't like putting a chain over a small business. read more

I was looking for cake and instead I found ice cream as the cake place was closed and the ice cream place was open. And...wow! One of the best. Love it when ice cream shops make their own flavors...yes, it matters. Everything in a white bucket is homemade. The ice cream is great. Yet what I must truly rave about is their homemade chocolate covered waffle cone that they make in house. Wow!!!! The BEST waffle cone on the planet. Try it fast...amazing! Love this place. The inside and outside look like just how ice cream shops should be. Staff is great and will get your order quickly. New ice cream flavors are constantly being added. The ice cream is perfect and so creamy. The portions are also really cheap and fairly large. It gets pretty busy but the lines move quickly. I recommend the banana split! read more
