    Classic mini golf!
    Felix G.

Talk about a blast from the past, this is the vintage mini golf you are looking for. Had a blast here for about $13 per person. Nice bar but with limited beer selections. No Modelo or Budweiser or bud light or anything you normally have. But if you are a hipster then they will have something you can drink. Food looked good but didn't try. And if you are looking to mingle in your sixties on a Friday night then this is the spot for you! If the beer selections were better it would have been 5 stars.

This is such a fun place. The scenery is beautiful and the course has varying levels of difficulty so good for adults and kids. The food was just okay(they were out of a lot of things) but I'm not subtracting points because the drinks were good and they were very accommodating with replacing/substituting items they didn't have.

Had a great time playing mini golf while enjoying the live music! They offer a military discount and two 18 hole courses to play.

Perfect place for a party! I filled out the form on their website and paid electronically in advance. When we arrived, each person in our party got a ticket to mini-golf, choose any item from the food menu, and order drinks from the bar as well. Our tables were reserved and ready. There was a band playing live music, and people dancing. We played the 1929 course: no silly gimmicks, just old-fashioned mini golf. It was fun.

This was our second visit to Cool Crest, and it was just as wonderful as the first! This time, we knew to order drinks, which made our golfing experience even better. There was a live band playing music from my childhood, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

You're NOT cool if you don't go to cool crest!!! Updated recently with a BEER Garden!! Live music and a food truck to boot. Not to mention two 18 hold courses to get competitive with your friends on. The staff is amazing. The course is gorgeous. Take some bug spray though bc the mosquitoes will get you. They do parties for groups. Go check out this San Antonio staple and support them so they'll be around for years to come.

Vintage, fun experience. We went on a HOT Tuesday night and had fun. We did the beginners course and it was not as easy as it may seem. Some things seemed a little bit in disrepair, but there's a certain charm in that not replicated by 21st century mini golf establishments. They have live music on Friday and Saturday, and a brewery with drinks every night.

Cool crest mini golf was a great place to visit for family-friendly fun. Pricing isn't bad at $10 for adults and $8 for kids. The course itself looks like it has seen better days but overall well taken care of. Some of the plants and foliage add to the challenge as they've overgrown over the fairway areas. Be careful though, as there were alot of rambunctious kids running around and practicing their parkour skills plus flying balls (gotta yell "Fore!" Haha) Overall a cool retro place and worth visiting!

You choose from two different 18-hole courses (beginner and difficult). We chose the difficult course and enjoyed every moment of the challenge. The landscape and architecture of the place was SO cute and made a great scene to look at as you waited your turn. Definitely recommend this for date night, family night or whatever. They have live music, food and drinks as well.

This is an amazing place with super cool vibes! This is the best mini golf place. They even have live bands and food trucks some days!! Best place for a cute date!

Honestly this place is the epitome of a San Antonio family owned business. Everyone here is a class act and so accommodating to their patrons. The staff kindly asked my dad to move his car because he was blocking a gate, and after he did provided us with a free game. We honesty felt like we were in someone's home at this course and will definitely be coming back.

We've been to play mini golf a handful of times. Saturday night we went to listen to the live music, Frio Trio, and have a few adult beverages. The drinks are an acceptable price and the entertain was great. I would recommend this place for either mini golfing or listening to music OR both! Enjoy both :)

Ask the Community - Cool Crest Miniature Golf Course

On average how long would you say it takes to complete each course? If it's helpful, planning to arrive around Noon on a Sunday. I know it's tough to say exactly but I'd appreciate just a ballpark timeframe.

Angela, a group of 4 will usually take about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes for a round. At noon on a Sunday we should not be all that busy.

Are y'all super busy on Friday's? Do you recommend reserving online?

Fern, although we do get busy on Friday and Saturdays, it never is more than a 5 minute wait to play a round of golf. It is your choice to pay online or in-person for the golf. Thanks for inquiring. Hope to see you at Cool Crest.

Are dogs allowed at the biergarten?

Sheil, Yes! Well-behaved pooches are welcome! Please come visit!

    Do they sell alcohol?

Yes, we do now sell a few beer and wine selections.

I could see this being a great meeting spot for a small group to host a private party. There's even a few modern slot machines near the front. We came on a Monday afternoon, so we didn't try any drinks. The wings and food is apparently supplied by Gold Feather, (a chicken chain with a location by North Star). Unfortunately, the food was the worst part. The side of fries is super small for $5. We got a chicken tender basket with the jalapeño ranch rub and it was sooooo salty! It had a nice kick to it, but was unbearable to eat in the salt. We also ordered fried pickles, which had such a light batter it was falling off the pickle. It seemed like it was fried after the chicken so it was also pretty salty. The servers seemed really nice here, but someone didn't prep the food quite right. The chicken was also pretty dry. I feel bad the food wasn't good cause otherwise it's be a really fun spot! I think we'd still come back to watch a game, shoot some pool and have a drink or two.
