Fantastic spot. Would be great for a kids bday. The go carts were fun as hell. The bumper boats are kinda lame. Batting cages cool. Golf cool. Games are older but different than what you get from the other places so that's kinda cool. Overall cool spot. A little dated. Serving adult beverages would be cool but maybe there is a restriction for a reason. If not. They have enough room to do a nice size beer garden on the property. Just my .02. Great customer service, very friendly staff. Here for a bday party, they have rooms you can reserve. Party prices are pretty reasonable compared to national chains. Snack food offered. Had the meatball flatbread which was pretty tasty. The offer all types of activities for adults & kiddos. They DO NOT allow any type of drink inside, not even a water bottle, I guess if that's the only terrible thing that's pretty good. Good time for all! Def a fun time for all! read more

The golf course is well kept although it doesn't have as many fun obstacles like you would expect from mini golf. Still a lot of fun. I didn't quite like that there was no barriers for you ball going into the water so you have to fish it out with provided nets if it goes in. Some holes seemed like they were designed for your ball to purposely go in. Also bought tickets for go karting. Each ticket is like 7 laps around the track which we didn't realize so we had many tickets left over. Luckily an employee will stamp any unused tickets to be used another day. Additionally we won a free round of mini golf when returning our ball so we'll be back to use the rest. The employee at the front was not very helpful or informative when deciding which package to pick so I would suggest researching their bundles ahead of time so you can save the most money based on what you want to do. They have a snack bar and do not allow outside food/drink. read more

Very disappointed, drove 1 hr for paintball, had to stop the session 4 times because everybody's gun kept jamming, played no more then 5 minutes each time, before having to stop. Even the employees said the guns have been malfunctioning for quite some time days and weeks before, eventually we had to get a refund because we couldn't continue because of the guns malfunctioning. Very disappointing the staff knew and know of the issues yet continue to allow the use of the malfunctioning guns. read more

This place is truly great! I have so many great things to say. I found this place for my son's birthday celebration. It's a great place for birthdays or just to bring the family for a few hours to enjoy time together. When I reached out to book a birthday party, they didn't have any slots available for the day/time I wanted. Regardless, we still brought my son and had a birthday party and just used our own tables and ended up having a wonderful time together (you just cannot bring your own birthday cake if you do not book a party formally through Green Acres). The food is affordable and the pizza is actually extremely tasty, plus you can buy pitchers of drinks or get pitchers of water for $0!! For the attractions, you can buy packages if you are interested in doing several activities. You are bound to find a good package which is a better more affordable price then buying everything individually. We did almost every attraction and my kids truly had the BEST time! I really did too plus it didn't break the bank. Lastly, the people working in Green Acres are all so friendly. Literally every staff member we happened upon was friendly and respectful to my kiddos and myself. They truly care about making sure everyone has a good experience and they keep it extremely clean here as well. We look forward to eventually returning in the future! read more

We went to check out this place planning to celebrate my daughter's birthday party at this place. We spent some time at arcade. Most of there machines in there are very old. The machines do not detect the tokens and you always need to get an attendant to sort it out. The attendants were nice and friendly. We had problems on few arcade games. Felt it was a waste of time waiting. We tried the cheese pizza. It wasn't that great - 2/5 The golf course was neat and clean. We haven't checked any other attractions as it was cold and my child did not meet the height requirement. They have to revamp the food, food menu and the arcade units to do better. read more

We did the miniature golf red course, batting cages and go karts. The miniature golf was real fun. Nobody was out there while we were out there, so we could play at our own pace, especially as a party of five. So, that was nice. There's plenty of places to stand in shade while on the course. There are a few places to sit down as well. It's a very fun course, challenging enough to want to do again. The batting cages was very fun! We had a real good time at the cages. With varying levels of speed, height and choosing between baseballs and softballs, it was all very easy to control. Four out of five of us had a great time on the go-kart course. Unfortunately, one of us, which happened to be me, got a really slow go-kart. Rather than make a stink about it, I reported it when I returned to the clubhouse and they gave me a refund. My son rode on some bumper boats at a park in Texas City and has been dying to do it again ever since. I looked it up online and Green Acres was the only place that had them. It was about 40 minutes from our home (that's how badly he wanted to ride them). But we went on a Wednesday afternoon last week and he definitely enjoyed himself! My husband went on the boats with him, they hit balls in the batting cage, and he jumped on their trampoline thing, all for $22! Incredibly reasonable prices. Saw other kids enjoying the mini golf, paintball, go karts and the arcade too! If you're interested in at least 2 or three things there then it's definitely worth the drive! read more

Awesome place! Went with my brother and his kids... we had an amazing time! I'd totally recommend the Do-it-all pack, as you can switch the trampoline tickets for arcade tokens! The staff was very accommodating and pointed my brother to a gas station so he could go and buy bug spray when the mosquitoes began to attack. I'd also totally do the go-karts at night again! A throwback to good old fashioned fun! I love this place. Great employees who are on top of things and very helpful. I took my 5th grade class here for an "end of the year party" and it was perfect for 10-11 year old kids. It can be pricy as each ride/attraction is about $7 I just wish they opened before 1pm (11am on Friday). Go karts are great and the track is perfect. Easy and fun to drive karts. The bumper boats allow you to cruise around a pool and shoot water at your opponents....you will be laughing and smiling the entire time! There are also batting cages for baseball and softball with speeds ranging from 40-80 mph (start with the slowest setting....they come in faster than you think!) The water war game is hilarious to watch and the trampoline thing is really fun as well. The mini golf course is easy and really well maintained. This place is a small slice of heaven that truly lets kids be kids and enjoy. The arcade has a good variety of games and they all work. Kids can earn tickets and buy items from the store. A great experience! A hidden gem east of San Antonio that not too many people know about. read more

My husband surprised me with a visit to Green Acres. We love to play miniature golf and hadn't played in a long time. I was surprise by the many things they offered, such as go carts , water bumper carts, and many indoor games. They are very in expensive. There is something to do for all ages. Although it's a little ways out from where I live, I enjoyed the experience. Large open space great for times like these which we are currently in. $7 for adults mini golf. I was surprised that there are go karts and a batting cage on site which I'll definitely do next visit. I do wish there was more shade as it was pretty sunny when we were out there however there was benches provided. You aren't able to bring any beverages inside but they do have a snack bar inside. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to take your kids please go visit this place. For about $60, a family of four was able to play a round of mini golf, have a pizza, pitcher of drinks, and 80 tokens included for arcade games. If you want to beat the crowd show up at opening! You will be out of there by the time it starts to get crowded. I probably would have given the place 5 stars but some of the machines didn't give out tickets. Any place my kid has a blast deserves 5 stars in my book. They're the true critics and base my review on his 6 yr old little mind. He has a boas during the mini golf but after 11 holes he's done lol. He really enjoyed the go-karts but thought his dad drive like a maniac. Probably enjoyed the arcade the most because he gets a prize in the end. I'm going to break my cardinal rule of going somewhere twice before reviewing, just because I don't know when the next time I'll get out this way. I first tried to go here during the day on a Saturday... And it was so jampacked ended up driving away. Which is fantastic for them! I went today, middle of the day, and golfed. Golfed the blue course. I thought the golf course was in need of a little bit of work... But overall not bad at all. I thought the young lady that took care of he was very nice... And then when I was getting ready to leave I found out you had the option of possibly winning a free round. Ended up winning a free round, and golfed again. I know it's hard to review when I only golfed... And they have so much to offer like the arcade, bumper boats, go carts, etc. Bottom line... If I were in the area again... Most of the staff were helpful and looked happy to be there, whereas a couple were down and looked like they were waiting for the day to end. I guess the stuff was fun, but we got to do only the Trampoline Thing because the wait times on the attractions are worse than Six Flags. Only a couple of workers actually acted like they worked there. The only good thing that came out of us going there, is that we got our money refunded since we couldn't golf waiting for the line at Trampoline Thing. This place would have been great but... the Go-Karts and Karting staff ruined it. The safety protocols need a revamp really bad, as well as maybe some sort of safety switches in the karts for dangerous drivers. See I had my 5 year old in a double kart that was way slower than the single karts. It would not have been a problem but another driver of a single kart thought it would be funny to slam into other karts on purpose (even though it was explained that hitting was prohibited) so we got hit and spun on the first turn. Not a big deal they spun us back around after two laps, did they slow down the karts so we didn't get hit again NO THEY DIDNT. We got hirlt a couple more times by the same driver as well as others being hit by the same driver. Did they stop the driver NO THEY DIDNT. So at the end of the race came and normally they limit the speed of the karts, not this place we parked our kart where the double karts go away from the finale karts go and WHAM, we got hit from the back at Full speed by the same driver as all the other hits before. To top it off my 9 year old pulled in where the single karts go and got rear ended by the same driver as well. She was thrown forward violently. Again the staff did nothing, this is not safe. If they cannot operate a safe venue with safety measures to protect the patrons then they need to close up shop because someone is going to get hurt. read more

Stopped by to play Paintball for the first time ever. Facility staff were awesome getting us squared away and off to the Paintball area. John was our Ref and did an amazing job covering the rules, safety features and and equipment mechanics. As a safety officer for the Army I was amazed by his subject matter expertise and attention to detail. He ensured everyone had a safe and extremely fun day of Paintball. To the managers, you NEED to give John a raise, he is the best! Highly recommend this to everyone!! read more

The manager was so rude to me and my children. I had a little 3lb Joey concealed that peaked her little head out. I educated fellow patrons and put her back in her bag. I went to go and buy more things for my kids and they asked me to leave. I didn't tell them she was an emotional support animal when I arrived. Really? She has no mama and I'm her emotional support. If anything, she was helping their business. She doesn't require a vet check to be around people. She slept 95% of the time we were there. With all that is going on in this world, enjoy an animal that helps your business and engages your patrons if they see her. I would have paid anything to let my kids play for longer but I'll never step foot in there again. I'm a community member and support local business...however this one has lost my business. read more

Why is it that mini-golf water is always dyed blue, like it's awash with 10,000 Flushes? The course isn't in that great of condition. Many of the bumpers are concrete blocks that have been moved, or knocked out of the way by some frustrated golfer. The water is absolutely disgusting. It has blue foam and dead bugs floating all over it. They make it rather easy to knock your ball into the water hazards, since there are no bumpers preventing this. I went in the evening, a good hour and a half before closing, and about an hour before they closed, an employee came out and collected all of the flags from the holes. This made it quite difficult to see what I was putting at. There's a reason they put flags in the golf holes. I suppose he was just itching to get out of there. The place wasn't exceptionally clean. Some of the video games had food mashed into the buttons. The bathrooms smelled like something died in there. I was impressed by the number of holes that you get to play for the price. I think we must have played at least 36 holes! None of the holes were especially interesting. No windmills, no miniature Eiffel Towers, no loopty-loops. It's not a very fun course. read more

My 10 year-old self goes NUTS every time I visit Green Acres! Mini-golf, go-karts, air hockey, and skee-ball OH MY! Cheap, old-fashioned fun, ladies and gentlemen! Minus one star, however, for closing so early! 10pm on a SATURDAY!? The high school employees seemed annoyed when we walked in at 8:30 and they appeared to be closing down for the evening. We took our 8th grade class last spring for their end of the year trip. The kids had a great time. We had the place to our selves. We did not have to worry about the kids' safety. They were allowed to wander around at their leisure. Our teachers had a great time as well. We are looking forward to going back. this year. read more

Drove here today to take our goddaughter to play. We didn't know the hours but we were already out so we went ahead and went. When we arrived we saw the times on the door which was about 45 minutes until open. So we chose to wait since nothing else was around to do in the mean time. After about 15 minutes of waiting someone pulled up with some stuff and someone came out to help them. Afterwards they sent a guy out who told us what time they opened and I told him that we read that on the door so that's what we were waiting for. He proceeded to tell us that they couldn't just have us sitting there that we had to leave. He then stated he hate to be like that but we couldn't just sit there and wait for them to open which was not even 30 minutes from then by this time. So obviously left and found somewhere else that was open and more accommodating to want our business and didn't mind us waiting for them to open. I will never return to this place again. If I could give no stars I would. read more
