One thing that stood out was how clean everything was--especially the restrooms, which I think says a lot about a business. I didn't even know this place existed lol so I'm glad I got to check it out. It's tucked away in Round Rock and looks small from the outside but the inside proved me wrong. What a fun night!!! My husband took us to this place for an adventurous Friday date night and we had such an amazing time! It's located in an unpopulated area and can easily be missed. However there are plenty of parking spaces. Their 18 hole glow-in the dark indoor mini golf course was brilliantly designed and fun! We love their murals because they are so mesmerizing and their decor is really well done and cool too. This place is perfect for a fun day/night out with friends or the whole family with kids of any ages (or even grownups like us)! Staff were friendly and happy to be there working which is always a plus! They also have laser tag, a laser maze, areas for parties with a haunted house theme, and arcade games. My husband and I wanted to do a different type of date night instead of "dinner and drinks." We ended up at Monster Mini Golf and had an amazing time! We came on a Friday night and had ~30 minute wait to play mini golf so we played the arcade games while we waited. Playing DDR, air hockey and the other arcade games was so carefree and nostalgic. This was a lot of fun. It's a great venue in a hot day, a rainy day, or a cold day. We chose this over the mini golf downtown just to avoid Austin traffic. The golf was pricey, but the course was fun and challenging. What I enjoy about mini golf is usually no one is great at it (so more about the fun than the competitiveness), and it's fun for all ages. SO FUN. First, while not a large venue they do pack a lot in. The space is very CLEAN and new. The arcade games are all new and in working order, there was just one I saw out of order. A big variety of classic arcade games to play. You put money on a card and use the card on all the games, tickets are calculated on the card as well. The mini golf is 18 holes and monster black light theme. A perfect mix of easy and a little tough putt putt holes. It's very visually appealing, they worked hard setting up the decor/vibe. The front desk was friendly and I used the email promotion/discount no problem. I spent about two hours here with mini golf and arcade games. They have laser tag and that seems like it would be fun. 2nd time to visit Monster Mini Golf and both times i didn't make it to actually play golf. Ugh! So I made the best of it. Decided to do Laser Tag. Fun fun fun, hadn't done this in years. Purchased a game card and 8 adults enjoyed our selves playing games. At first it was like ugh, only one game and that's it. Well the cost is like $1 or $1.50. Looking at that i was ok and understood their mentality of the one game for cheaper cost. Especially when you have little ones playing. Just went to Pinballz the night before and paying $6 for a game and the younger kids not knowing how to play was kinda a waste. They just want to be in the mix. So Monster being much cheaper was perfect in this scenario for the smaller kids. Had a great evening to celebrate two birthdays. I'll be back and i will be playing golf. We had a lot of fun here for a decent price. The golf course was pretty extensive and took us about an hour to get through. Fun decorations. The arcade was small, but nice. Lots of the crane machine have "play till you win" guaranteed prizes, which was perfect for our four year old, though she couldn't manage most of the other games. Laser tag and laser maze look fun. The whole place seemed to be run entirely by 2-3 young guys who were all extremely efficient and helpful! Our family loves going to Monster Mini Golf. It is not a huge location but it never feels crowded despite there being other guests. We always play a round of mini golf (everything is black light and monster themed), a game of laser tag, and arcade games. There are a variety of types of arcade games for all ages to enjoy. The employees are usually teens or young adults that seem to really like being there. All are very professional and helpful. We did notice on our last visit that it seems like guests have torn up quite a bit of the decor in the mini golf section. Which is a bummer because it really is a cool experience to be immersed in. We'd been looking for someplace to go on a weekday night for fun, and stumbled across this place. It was nearly an hour's drive from home, but it turns out it was well worth it! We had a great time. I'll admit when we pulled up late afternoon on a Tuesday, and place didn't even look open-- no one was in the parking lot out front, and all the windows are covered up so light from the outside doesn't get in and ruin their ambiance, lol. Also, if you put the address into Google Maps, it randomly routes you into the nearby residential neighborhood... no idea why, just wanted to warn potential guests. Anyway, I would say the main feature of this location is their Mini Golf course. It's a fairly challenging course that you aren't likely to get a hole-in-one on most holes. The theming is fantastic. Everything is glowing vibrant colors under the black light and has a "spooky" almost Halloween theme, such as skeletons, rats, clowns, and monsters. There are even a couple of animatronics that go off occasionally. I had a great time just taking photos of all the fun decorations. By far most impressive are all the murals painted on the walls-- clearly some skilled artist had fun making puns with random celebrities. During our time there, two more couples came in to play as well. As I said, it was a relaxed experience on a Tuesday (I heard from the employees that weekends get pretty crazy with lots of kids, so be warned). The place also features a good collection of games in the arcade (mostly ticket/prize redemption related, but a couple claw machines and shooters as well). The giant lock game is especially fun. The prize redemption area is a little limited in variety-- mainly small prizes like candy and the kind of trinkets you'd expect from a 25 cent machine at the grocery, but also a few plushies and inflatables and the like. The employee working that station was really awesome and chill; she gave us a bonus prize, which I think was excellent customer service on her part, as it really made us feel special and definitely increased our likelihood to come back soon! We didn't partake in any of the other available activities here, but there are also a couple VR booths, two party rooms (which were wickedly themed!), and laser tag (the course looked really solid!). Definitely looks like a great spot to reserve a birthday. I recommend going to Monster Mini Golf's website and signing up for their email list, as you will be provided a "VIP link" for a discount price! We spent just $16 for a round of golf for the both of us as well as a free $5 arcade card. Great deal. The restrooms at this location are clean and well-stocked. read more

Still 5 stars from me! We've been twice in the last week and the kids are begging to go back. They added a few arcade games since the last time we were in that my kids love too. Their party rooms, bathrooms, everything was clean and organized, everything looked as new as it did the first time we went in. All of the employees there were super sweet and helpful. I do wish they had Apple Pay or could type in a card number since I never carry my card anymore, so just make sure to bring your physical card or cash. Stumbled upon this place and was skeptical when we pulled up to the parking lot... Well, as the saying goes- don't judge a putt putt place by its parking lot. (or something like that) When you walk in it is super dark but the lights from the arcade lights guide your way to the front counter. We paid for a round of mini golf and were blown away by all the glow in the dark decor! Our daughter is 4.5 so a whole round of putt putt didn't happen BUT when we went to the front counter the attendant offered (without us asking) to put the money into a play card! It was such a nice gesture and allowed us to spend more time checking out everything they had to offer. We all had a blast and I can see this being a fun spot to go when our girls are older. The absolute BEST place for mini golf in Austin. Affordable and fun, this place has a course that will amaze you. Glow in the dark courses? Count me in! I love that you can clearly see the obstacles and holes. This course is cleverly made so that each hole gets gradually more difficult, but you are eased into different mechanics (tunnels, ramps, ricochets). You get your money's worth: it's relatively long, the decor is amazing (moving pieces and light effects), and they make it a real challenge at times. There are instructions to give yourself a handicap either by the course itself (spinning wheel) or an instructor via PA system. It wasn't busy, so we neither had to wait on anyone nor felt rushed due to any waiting parties. I also perused some games. A good selection were unique to me and I was able to grab about 4-5 take home prizes from crane games and such. Redeeming points was enjoyable since all the workers didn't seem to hate their lives. They gave us free vouchers to redeem for another free game of mini golf at a later date. 100% chance that I'll come back to play this course again! read more

They have really cool laser tag (which is castle themed that glows in the dark) with great hiding spots. The artwork on the indoor mini golf course was incredible. The people behind the desk did a great job spacing out groups (for mini golf) and were really friendly. A fair number of arcade games. The venue is really the perfect size...not so big it's overwhelming but not so small that you feel like you did everything in a few minutes. Extra cool spots to rent out for a party (those rooms look like haunted dining rooms). We took our boys here on a Thursday evening (Spring Break). We went about 6:15 pm and it wasn't too busy yet. We got a deal on Groupon for a round of golf for four and a $20 gift card for the arcade. We played our round of golf first and it was so much fun! The place is decorated super cool and the murals are amazing. The mini golf course itself is not too easy but also not too difficult. We enjoyed it very much. The arcade was a bit outdated. There were lots of older looking games and only a handful of newer games....but we didn't really come for the arcade right, so it didn't bother me too much. The boys still had fun regardless.
