Large outdoor gathering area for listening to music and enjoying the evening. Drink were pricey for what the place was and no comfortable seating.....basically old wooden picnic tables and metal stools. The day we went the DJ was playing music so loud he must have thought it was a full concert, when in reality there were about 20 people seating outside haveing drinks on a Saturday afternoon with his overly loud music.....food provided by food trucks. Used to be such a cool bar and a place to hang out. As a disabled veteran they used to really care about us that apparently under New Management they don't. It really is a shame because it used to be a great place to hang out but as a disabled veteran I didn't care that they didn't have any handicap places that didn't bother me that much but when the new management told me that I had to leave because my PTSD service dog was a problem because I didn't have the leash in my hand which by law I don't have to and she was not a problem she stood by my side the entire time and everybody loves her. When they have stray dogs running around and one of them even attacked my service dog who refused to react by the way because she's been trained not to react to it but they don't do anything about that. I simply tell me that I had to leave when I was inside ordering a drink and so I put the leash on the floor. I don't know when the management changed because before the owner was amazing he loved veterans he loved dogs he loves vets he even told me that cat on the place and to make sure that the dogs were good with cats and he didn't care but the new management has no common sense has no common courtesy and no respect for veterans not to mention they have one handicap spot for all of their parking spots which is against the law. So I asked all of my fellow veterans don't support this establishment anymore. read more

The last time I was here was a few months ago and it was actually on the veerry last night that it was super super cold. I had stumbled across this place a few days prior (by myself while exploring the Missions) and loved this hidden gem so much that I just had to drag a few ppl back with me, regardless of the temperature. It was the perfect night. Aqua Duck had the most loveliest of fire pits, loaded with burning logs, filling the night with the most beautiful embers. The wind chime attached to the tree made it feel like we were just chillen at someone's place in their spacious backyard. It's the little things that leave the most lasting of memories. When we visited it was most definitely not a full-service bar but that's ok since it is dubbed a beer garden. I think I remember having a creamsicle? mimosa that was deluscious! See pics. I also had a tasty michelada. They've got frozen margaritas and beer, too. Pretty limited selection but the space itself makes a visit totally worth it. They had a food truck, plenty of awesome woodland space and a kids playscape. They were hurriedly working through the night to complete a stage that I can only imagine has already hosted some great acts. Parking seemed somewhat abundant; indoor bar seating is claustrophobic but there is additional sitting in a room around the corner. Outside is a whole other ballgame: seating galore. Give it a chance! I can see this place really thriving and making a name for themselves and I applaud this super fun, unique addition to the area! read more

This place is very nice as it has a good size outdoor seating area. Staff can sometimes be great or.. just meh. Music is usually good, sometimes the bands are interesting to say the least. Beer prices are great. They do have food trucks on site, but they can be pricey and not always worth the money. Parking can be a nightmare as it's in a neighborhood so be careful when finding a spot. read more

We rallied a group from the north side to check out this place. We got there first. The loud music was not our idea of an afternoon beer garden and catered to a much younger crowd. There were only 4 other people there outside so we asked about changing the music genre to a more neutral selection but was told we could use the jukebox for $1 a song. It was a big turn off. We texted our friends to meet us somewhere else and we left. They missed out on business from a group of 13 people who where looking for a nice place to hang out for a few hours. read more

We came here to celebrate a co worker's promotion, this place was referred by many so therefore what the heck.... It is secluded so it might be hard to find at first( I drove past it) but the even challenging part is parking. There were cars on the street, across the street and like me I made my own parking space. There is more in the back but will need to spend some money to park there. Once we got inside it was very quiet, then moved to our reserved table as 1 of us in our group knows the co owner( who is a very nice man). They have big industrial fans for the hot days so that helped alot as it was a regular San Antonio day. Music was a mixture of everything, so there was some dancing. The only down side to this place would be the bartender I was serviced by, I did not catch her name but her eyelashes stood out literally. She have a very bad attitude from the start, she got very overwhelmed when the bar started to get busy so she yelled that the line was in the middle so we stood there. I was next but she pointed to a gentleman behind me and decided to service him, I pointed out I had been waiting which led her to state he was there the whole time(he wasn't) and he was VIP. Based on his wardrobe he looked like he leaves good tips but jokes on her because I appreciate their line of work it takes a certain kind of person to do that work nightly sooooo I am a great tipper to the customer service scene.. I would definitely recommend this place for a hang out but that bartender cost this place 2 whole stars, so if y'all decide to go avoid that lashes... read more

Went for the first time during the $2 dollar customer appreciation happy hour. Walked in through the front door which is a room with a pool table and bathroom and tables, but you have to keep walking to get to the bar. Some changes I would make are to have menus placed out if there's food, most of the music was 80's, freestyle and country. Maybe have a DJ some nights for more variety or turn the touchtunes on because it was like someone was playing their Pandora. Extensive lines at bathroom at times, maybe put two more bathrooms if you're doing a $2 dollar drink night just so people don't get tired of standing at restroom. There was at one time only one bartender, but he was so awesome at doing his job he didn't need help, but maybe more service so people can get served quicker. read more

Finally an attraction on the south side close to the missions where you can enjoy a nice cold beer and live music! They have kid friendly rides and things and games to play. We went during the night time and enjoyed two cold beers with live music it was nice. read more

The customer service was terrible from the unfriendly bartender to the aggressive and unprofessional security officer on duty. A situation that could have been easily de-escalated by the security officer was quickly escalated due to his aggressive behavior. Even cursing and being extremely confrontational himself. This was all over two pups that were in a stroller. Twice we were told by other staff that the baby had to go. We informed them that there was no baby and that there were two older small dogs in the stroller. Regardless, per the security guard, he stated that management asked him to confront us regarding the "baby" in the stroller. There were ten of us celebrating a birthday. Disappointing considering the music was great and up to that point we were having a wonderful night. read more

The Garden is a great plaCe to sit back and take in the river walk acitivites. The food is great, the staff is polite and fun, and drinks go down smooth. We strongly recommend you stop I. Some coworkers convinced me to join them here here a few weeks back upon arrival I was highly disappointed that there were no real AQUEDUCTS #thisisnotRome. None the lass I stayed and enjoyed a few drinks their selection is not too expensive but they are still new so it's not surprising. The potential for the this places huge they have a free to play pool table and a soccer pool table out side. There is a very spacious patio and what appears to be a stage being built in the back for live entertainment. I was told they do host food trucks occasionally which would be nice with a cold beer or a margarita. In a couple months I wouldn't be surprised to see this place offering its location as a place to host small events or wedding reception once it polished up a big more. read more

Love it here. Small parking lot. But plenty of street parking. Gets good local cover bands and DJs. Full bar. Outside stage with a dance floor.Has a play area for the kids. Kids can stay till like 10 I think. Plenty of outside tables and chairs. Picnic tables and benches. Great prices and atmosphere. Nice country setting. Check it out! read more

Definitely an awesome spot to come hang out with friends. The only thing I would suggest is for them to open up another bar outside. The lines inside can get pretty long and the parking isn't always the easiest to maneuver around. But aside from, no complaints here! read more
