It's safe to assume someone purchased it cheaped out on the ice cream. I was so disappointed and I absolutely loved this place. The charm is still there and the owner was there wIth some young girls working. As a fellow small business owner I respect that.....seemed like a really nice guy. He's actually one of the reasons I gave this place 3 stars. Very professional and courteous. The Ice Cream is average at best and Im being kind. Their Banana ice cream now is canary yellow, artificially flavored bad tasting ice cream. He needs to take it back to how it was in 2018....all the ice cream was homemade and it was simply delicious! Overall the ice cream portions are the same but the ice cream is not good! Take it back 8 years when it was all homemade. That's what made Bananas stand out. Now it stands out for all thr wrong reasons. Sorry but its the Truth! Make Bananas Great Again!

Amazing is an understatement! Everything is delicious, the staff is great and friendly, the decor is out of this world. Even if there's a wait, you can't notice because there are so many things to look at. By the time you get to the counter you forgot to look at what you wanted to order. No matter what you order it's delicious! They are even so helpful with allergies. You name it, they'll take care of it! Always such a joy being in this store! read more

Well, I was wrong, the owner is beyond rude and have been told by multiple locals that he is wildly inappropriate in person and online. FFC is located on Beach Ave, right in the heart of one of the main drags in Cape May (also, conveniently around the corner from where I was staying). The decor is super fun - the entire space is decked out in Pride decor, with colorful ice cream aesthetics on the walls and an overall upbeat vibe. FFC serves Bassetts Ice Cream, I'm not familiar with the brand but apparently their cream content is higher than average so how bad can that be? They have several flavors to choose from, as well as a number of toppings, sundae combinations, and milkshakes. I decided to go with Moose Tracks in a cone - I was able to choose the number of scoops I wanted (I got two), as well as the type of cone I wanted. The ice cream was really good - super creamy with lots of peanut butter cups and fudge; the moose were stampeding. Service was also great - I was taken care of promptly and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Overall, this was a yes - with the plethora of ice cream spots in the area, FFC stands out by serving high quality product in a fun and inviting atmosphere. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Cape May.
