Stopped by to get some ice cream before leaving Athens and had a great experience. They have so many different flavors, types of milkshakes, candy, etc. Love the amount of variety they have to cater to different tastes and preferences. I got a cup of rainbow sherbet and my boyfriend got a cone of the Oreo cookies n cream. The Oreo cookies n cream might be one of the best I've tasted, so creamy and well flavored. The store is so thoughtfully done and very playful so adults and kids would all enjoy it! The gentleman, who I believe is the father of Beau, was an absolute pleasure to meet. Incredibly sweet and explained everything so well to us when we told him it was our first time there. He was also so thoughtful. He placed our ice cream in the fridge while we were paying and filled the cone to the bottom. I've never seen any ice cream store that did that!! Overall, I think they have unique flavors worth trying, super reasonably priced, good portions, and amazing service. I would visit again if Athens was closer. I was getting pizza next door to this place and decided to check it out. I was not disappointed! The service is amazing here and the flavors are something you won't find anywhere else. I got 2 different scoops for $5.50. I got the caramel cheesecake cookie supreme and lil blue cookie hero. They give a good amount of ice cream and it's well priced. Both flavors were absolutely delicious and I will be visiting again soon to try out all the other flavors! - no indoor seating, but right next door is some very cute outdoor seating! read more

I was having lunch at The Pines and stumbled across Lil Dude I've Cream and clicked on About and was instantly inspired by a 13 year old legacy that he built deciding to sell Ice Cream at the age of 13, and his parents helping him navigate the entrepreneur make a path. He built that young idea into an Entrepreneurial Legacy for himself and his family. I stopped in saw Mom & Dad and got a little update on Lil Dude. He's in HS now probably going to become a prespective UGA student. I ended up getting the Cookie Sandwich called the Celebration bc lord knows I had to celebrate this Lil man's accomplishments. Ok, first off, if you are using your map on your iPhone this place may look like it's next to an India Restaurant. It's actually across the parking lot entrance. But once you find it, you'll know because of the cute globe/face logo! There was a couple working there that I found out were the young entrepreneur's parents. This kid, at 8, started an ice cream business! And his parents help when he has school and homework. He's not 16. Such a neat story. I got the brownie sundae and while the mom made it (to order) I chatted with his dad about the business and why I was in GA for work. And the staff were so incredibly kind and charming, that I wanted to support this business immediately. But let me tell you, the ice cream is just as excellent if not better than the decor. Went here last night after Indian food in the same little shopping area, and was pleasantly impressed with the passion the folks had for the ice cream here, which makes sense now that I know that the business is family owned, and was actually started by the son when he was a kid, and now that he is in high school, his parents are his employees! I had the minty chocolate chip cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream in between, and my wife had the Detroit Pothole ice cream, and we sat outside under the nicely lit trees on the communal patio. We stumbled upon this place on Yelp while In Athens. We went in during the day on a Friday. The worker was so pleasant I assumed he had to be the owner. It's then he tells me the story of his 15 year old son who actually owned the place and the dad works for his son. It was such a neat story and impressive that if for no other reason you want to go support a young man who has been an entrepreneur since the age of 8. The ice cream flavors and taste were great. They also sell Italian ice and novelties so there is something for everyone. If you want great ice cream check this place out. It's worth a trip. We came across this place after eating at the Thai restaurant in the same strip. At first I ask for a sample of the pumpkin spice that I thought could be either very good or something I would not like and was told they were Not set up for taste test yet. Then after getting our ice cream we were sitting on the bench talking quietly when we were informed that we were not allowed to consume the ice cream inside their shop. It was only 35 degrees on this particular night along with the fact that there were no signs indicating we were not allowed to consume their products on their property. this Is wrong.
