Reviews are over rated about this place. I get it, it's a local restaurant and people want to build it up to high standards. But it's simply not the case, the food quality is okay if you like it smothered in grease and fat. Locals brag about it being a "heart attack burger " and it's true. These are a must have every time I come back home. I don't think there's a better bacon cheeseburger anywhere. Freshly cooked & real hamburger meat. Not too thick, not too thin. Off the beaten path hometown atmosphere. Good burgers with choice off eggs, bacon and cheese if you want. Drinks include RC, Nehi, and Sun Drop. We were passing through on the way home and decided to stop. Great homemade burger. Real beef, Soo good. Made to order. I definitely recommend trying it. I had the doudle cheeseburger with egg. The double burger with bacon I had from Cooley's was the best burger of my entire life. This place doesn't look like much on the outside, and if you're not a local, it might be kind of hard to find. But the staff was very sweet and the burger was just the right amount of greasy. I wish I could go back to this place and take my family. read more
