We happened upon this Blue Crap by accident, we were going to the butcher shop next door and decided to stop in. We've been to the other Blue Crab Grills and live closer to Laurel, but I have to say the food at this location was by far better and the service here is just as top notch as their other locations. Second time here I had the Philly Cheese Steak and in All of Mississippi it is the best I've had here, ranks up there with the ones in California/Philly/DC/NY(same size and quality, can't have a Philly that's tiny or in a hot dog bun. Was sent the wrong order thru DoorDash. When calling the restaurant was told by Elana C that DoorDash makes the menu. Instead of trying to make it right she proceeded to hang the phone up on me. A total of Four times. The next day I called to speak with the manager and Shane backed up her behavior. I was not rude to either of them being in the customer service department myself I would have expected better and definitely not treat my customers that way. I would have definitely listened first especially when someone spending money. Even the Dasher was there and noticed that the order wasn't right and was willing to go back for the right food. She even witnessed the rudeness of Elana and suggested that I reported it to DoorDash in which I did. For that reason I will never spend my money with them again. I had the shrimp poboy which came in two flour tortillas instead of bread. I liked it that way. The boudin balls seemed to have potato instead of rice and not much shrimp, but they were still very good. read more

The fired oysters, fries, okra and slaw were all delicious and prepared well. Toni was a great waitress, we didn't want for a thing, and our glasses were always full. Stopped in with my wife for an impromptu date night. The place has a casual fun atmosphere, DJ grandpa (at least that's what we called him) spinning some middling rock and dancing with the patrons that wanted to. I got the crab legs... just perfect. The food was good but they charged 20% gratuity. That was a bit toooo much. The atmosphere was great. We enjoyed ourselves.

This is the worst experience I've had in a very long time. My sister and I came for dinner. Should have taken the hint when there were only a few cars in the parking lot. The dining room wasn't swept (food from previous customers all over the floor and tables. Service was poor and slow. Ordered the catfish and crab cakes. Several tables that came in after we did was served their food and left before we even got our food. The catfish was sent back because half of it was raw and the other half was over fried. Food was way below par. After requesting the manager several times he came out and apologized, removed the catfish from our bill. Blamed problems on under staffed and inexperienced cooks. He was pleasant and professional. I will not return to this establishment. Don't waste time or money. read more

We were not a big group at all it wasn't busy either. It took 45 mins for us to get our food. We saw our waitress maybe twice. The food advertised as "jumbo" was anything but. Just no a good place to eat. At least that day anyway. read more

Our waitress was Callie and she was very nice and helpful. The food and service was 10/10. Highly recommend the boudin balls, they were to die for. For entrees, we ordered the shrimp and fish tacos, seafood platter, and the blackened redfish. All the food was hot, fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. Will be coming back! read more

My friend and I ordered pasta with shrimp Alfredo sauce. The portions were large enough to have leftovers for another day. It was delicious! Our server was friendly and very attentive. The side salad I got came with pickles which was different, and the sirloin I ordered was OKAY. they used too much Worcestershire sauce on it, and it was bland on the inside. It still wasn't a terrible steak. It was cooked perfectly medium rare as I ordered. this is a seafood restaurant, and their shrimp Poboy was delicious. Add a little bit of hot sauce and it was perfect! I would come back again but will order seafood next time. read more

I got the popcorn shrimp poboy . It was stuff fairly well with shrimp , and they were hot and tasty. It was a handful, I had to cut it in half . I really liked their choice in bread. It was flakey on the outside , and had a nice crust on the inside , from where they grilled it. read more

This place has the best Fire cracker shrimp tacos that I have ever eaton. I've never knew about or heard of this place, but I'm so glad that I stumble up on it. It's totally different from any other shrimp taco I ever tasted. Plus it has some kind of special sauce added. WOW!!! There was one little flaw. Wish I could give no stars . Arrives at 6pm on Saturday night not very busy a lot of take out. Waitress was inattentive even though they had plenty of wait staff. Food arrived at table at 715 when I asked if it always took this long she replied it's not fast food really. She had manager come to table but waitress stood there over her like a child that was going to get her say in truly pathetic.All the people giving good reviews to this restaurant have obviously not been to a real seafood restaurant or they either know the owner. When waiting at checkout to pay for this disaster saw to customers complaining about take out one with wrong order and the other they didn't even have their order.Take my advice if you want seafood go to the coast. read more

I was in town on business for a week and ate here a couple of times. The menu is actually quite large with plenty to choose from including non-seafood items for you guys who show up to a seafood restaurant looking for a burger or chicken pasta. The first time I got the mahi mahi platter and I will say that the portion was pretty hefty, and it was pretty good to boot. My coworker got the Hawaiin sandwich special (that guy) and I will say that the chicken on that sandwich was surprisingly small. They tried to make up for it by giving him 2 pounds of fries. Others at the table got various seafood platters and it was quiet as everyone munched away. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal so maybe the trick here is to stick to the seafood. Service was decent, little bit of a long wait for your food, but overall a pretty good place to eat. Would recommend if you're in town. read more
