Definitely a good spot to stop by if you're in the area and need to satisfy that craving. Also the person that helped us was great. She knew her stuff and gave great recommendations.

We had walked past Emilia's, on the square, earlier and thought it would be perfect. It was! I believe all the frozen offerings are considered "gelato", but it tasted like delicious ice cream to us. I had to google "gelato vs. ice cream", and learned that gelato is, in general, lower in fat than other frozen desserts. We had the Pina colada, and it was quite delicious! The woman working, Jenieve (I hope I got that right), was very helpful and friendly. Also available at Emilia's is a wide variety of flavored popcorns, and fudge. Next time we are in Weatherford, we will be back. I believe I heard that all products are made in store. Oh, and there are more flavors of gelato than are in the display case. I wish I had grabbed a picture of all. Bottom line: An excellent option for a sweet treat on the square!

Karen and James are the greatest jam-making, pickle-producing couple you'll ever find! Their…read moretagline is "splendiferously different fine foods," which describes them perfectly. Their products are unique, of beautiful quality, and absolutely delicious. My top three favorites are definitely 1.) Sweet & Spicy Pickle Chips. These pack a lot of heat but in the best way possible, and the sweetness can't be beat. They're crunchy and salty and perfect. 2.) Apple Bourbon Cinnamon Jam. It's like the best apple-pie filling you can imagine, tart with a bit of a bite. 3.) Sweet & Spicy Tomato Jam. Ahhhh... this will make your sandwiches shine! On grilled cheese.. or crackers with some cream cheese? I'd eat it with a spoon, honestly. In a Pickle's other jams are Blueberry Lime, Lemony Pear Vanilla, Orangy Fig, Peach Chocolate, and Strawberry Vanilla, and then they have a Spicy Satsuma Orange Lemon Marmalade. You have GOT to get your hands on any one of these beautiful products. I'm telling you, with these jams, your toast eating and appetizer-making experiences will never be the same. You can always buy the goods online, but you can also find them in these Fort Worth stores: Danette's Urban Oasis, Feastivities, Rodak's Custom Coffee and BBQ Grills, and the Vending Nut Company. In Arlington they're available at Gene Allen's Gifts and Potager's Other Stuff. They're in other Texas locations as well, and in several other states! Fairly often, In a Pickle is selling and giving samples at local farmer's markets and festivals. Follow them on facebook to see when they'll be out and about. There are no preservatives and very few ingredients in their creations... all gorgeous and handmade with the best fruit and veggies out there!

Wow! Please bookmark this small little outfit to put on your map!…read more I found this sweet couple on a little foodie / fun event in the arts district of Dallas on a rainy Saturday! The place was packed with so many fun booths! Now mind you this was several years ago! Shame on me for not sharing one of these hidden southwestern secrets! The event was so fun and down to earth! In the background was a live jazz band! Another booth had free cold beer tasters. Outside they had a number of fun food trucks, even the funnest cappuccino food truck, loved those folks, as well! A slight rain / drizzle was on us that day! But being around so many fun & down to earth folks was just so fun! Booths were from food, clothing, jewelry with a Santa Fe look, puppy dog beds, art items, etc... It was just too fun! Now to their booth! I walked up and tasted a number of their products, but fell in love with their 'Sweet & Spicy Tomato Jam'! Bought three jars, and I try to stay away from sweets. I gave two jars away as gifts, but saved one jar for visit friends! Tasted a touch the other night and was reminded again just how wonderful it really was! Shame on me for not writing about this hidden gem sooner! Look for these folks and where they will be at: www. inapicklefoods.com They have a Facebook page to follow them as well! Last thoughts: Highly recommend picking up several jars of the 'Sweet & Spicy Tomato Jam'! And get several jars for friends and family, they will love you even more! Keep up the great products folks! I'm a big fan!

This is a great place to find local plants and flowers that will thrive in your garden. They have unique garden decor and pottery. I was able to get two really hard to buy for people birthday gifts. They have fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, and other food items that you cannot find at awalmart. For Fall decorating, you could not ask for a better place. The hay bells, unique pumpkins, and other fall fun is available. Even before we moved to Weatherford, we would drive here just to visit and this was a must stop on our list. If I need some retail therapy, to treat myself, of a special gift, you can bet I am going here. They have such friendly staff. The prices are mostly fair too You are highly likely to catch me here. Make sure and tell them Ashley sent you and that I said I would be back soon!

Going to a farmers market you go with an expectation that you are getting local grown products,…read moreright? Well, today I saw that is a lie, I'm paying a farmers market price mark up for the same berries and things I could walk across the street and get at the big name grocery store. As I stood there in awe watching the girl take the strawberries from the plastic containers "from California" on the side- great from the poison insecticide place I was trying to avoid- and putting them into cute baskets to charge me 350% more I guess I will stop believing this is local and just go to the grocery store. This was really sad to see this place isn't shooting local farmers and selling local produce just the same stuff you can find at the store for less and get the same insecticide sprayed produce at less cost. There are some local products (honey and canned goods) but the produce and things are straight from the grocery store and made to "look" local.
