The service was good, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect. But I judge a restaurant the same way I judge a hotel, by the bathroom. The seat was clean. The seat was dry. There was plenty of toilet paper. The latch on the stall worked perfectly. At that point, I realized I had found a five-star bathroom. So I sat there a little longer to enjoy the peace and quiet and because apparently this was the only place in town where nobody needed anything from me. While contemplating life, I noticed writing on the stall wall, it said, "If you want the job done right, call Martha." I thought, Well, Martha sounds confident. So I thought I'd give her a call. Turns out it wasn't Martha. It was Bob's Plumbing. So I gave this place 4 stars, they need to occasionally confirm the numbers on the stall walls. And honestly, after the bathroom inspection, I'd trust Bob with the plumbing. read more

Great place to stop in with specials changing everyday of the week. Eclectic menu with wine, whiskey, coffee and mocktails. Lots of comfortable patio seating for the nice weather with fans and heaters. Indoor seating at the bar or in secluded romantic settings or a table across from the tv.TV. Staff is very nice and will answer questions, make recommendations and give you great service with a smile. The pizzas are thin or thick crust optional, put deviled eggs, charcuterie board and Cantonese are also on the menu. We are trying to become regulars. read more

So we went to this place today....wanted to try something new. Walked in, kinda busy but not too bad for 12:45 on a Fri. Waited about 5 min before a waiter came to bring us menus and water. About 10 min later, he came back, took our drink & appetizer order. Drink came out pretty fast, but was weak,(for an Old Fashion). I asked for lemons, that took a few minutes. Our appetizer came out pretty quickly. It was the spinach artichoke dip. It was pretty good. He came back about 15 min after we finished that to take our lunch order. Now mind you, it's been about 30-35 mins we've been in there. He took our lunch and second drink order. Nothing big, Remedy Ranch Water & Smoked Margarita Pie. Drink again came out fast. No refills on the waters though. About 25-30 min later another waitress asked if we were doing ok. We said, just waiting on our lunch. About 5 min later, our pie arrives. It's not smoked.....it's burnt. So we looked at each other, broke off the brunt parts and tried to choke it down. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. Definitely not with $13.50 at that moment. Maybe if it wasn't burnt. I asked the waitress is this was what they meant by smoked, and she replied, No, I'm sorry, it wasn't supposed to be burned. No offers to take it off our bill, no nothing. So this is why they received a 1 star. Every other person that received their Pies/Pizzas, looked amazing. Just not sure what happened with ours. Anyway, would we go back? Probably not. I hope no one else has the same experience and theirs is much better. read more

It took quite a while for our food to come out and the breakfast sandwich, my wife ordered was literally just a bun, a poorly poached egg with some sauce on it. my smoked scramble, which sounded really good taseted as if they are clearly buying super low quality, bacon and sausage. The price was decent, but considering what you get, you could just go to McDonald's. Oh yeah, there was a mummified mouse on the patio not far from where we were sitting. read more

Finally ventured out solo to check this place out after several recommendations and instantly loved the dim lighting creating a moody romantic setting, perfect for a date night... can't wait to come back with my guy! The drinks and small salad I tried were delicious and fresh, so I'm very much looking forward to trying more items next time, especially during the next month or two for their Seasonal options. Found this gem of a place on a Yelp search for brunch as we were returning from nearby Mineral Wells. Turns out, they don't serve Black Friday brunch as many places do, but we made do with the regular menu, and it worked out very well. Starting with coffee, I ordered a cappuccino, and my wife started with a latte. Both featured rich but not overly bitter espresso, and we added sweetness in the form of their house made sugar free simple syrup (which I'd love to try in a cocktail, and I wish more places would do this). Later, I asked for another, every bit as good as the first, and my wife switched to tea in the form of the Creamsicle Swirl, which was a positively awesome mix of orange tea, steamed milk, and vanilla. It was one of the best tea drinks I've had. Moving on to the food, my wife selected the avocado toast on an English muffin, adding chopped bacon. It was a fairly non-fussy mix of pureed avocado and onion, along with some herbs and tomato, and was very nice with the smoky bite from the bacon. But the star of the show was my prosciutto pizza. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my time, and this pie was absolutely one of the best, easily top three, of pizzas I've ever tasted. It was like a true craft cocktail, where, instead of tasting individual ingredients, they come together as a delicious whole that tastes like nothing else you've ever had. Such was the case with the smoky prosciutto, sweet black Mediterranean dried figs, cashews, fresh basil, and a delightful balsamic drizzle atop mozzarella and parm reg cheese. If there was even the slightest knock, the crust could have been a little thinner (even having chosen "thin"), but this is a very minor nit. The crust itself was delicious, and the flavors and textures from the interesting set of toppings was just incredible. This place was a true find in a place I wouldn't have expected. It's a beautiful space, and the service was great. I'm sure it's hopping on a Saturday night, and I'd love to come back for that scene at some point. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area, or even just passing through. read more

Arrived at 11am to be deafened by distasteful dnb music in the seating area. We finally had our drinks arrive and our order taken an hour later and was forgotten about. We received our food an additional hour later after asking where our food was multiple times. Our waiter decided to join in with the dj! When you're in downtown Weatherford looking a place for a night out with friends and a few drinks...think of Northside. They have a great staff, creative drink menu, and typically live music (the handful of times that I have been there). They have a food menu with a creative take on your typical bar foods, don't expect a full blown meal (not that that is a bad thing but I don't expected a full food menu). The bites were decent and very enjoyable but we needed to go elsewhere to get a meal. read more

Came for brunch and a cocktail (alone; don't pity me I'm a curmudgeon) and was pleasantly surprised! Got there a little after ten on Sunday and ordered an oat milk Cappuccino, a Rye Old Fashioned (Mimosas? No fucking way.) and their poached egg, tomato, Feta skillet with artichoke hearts. Short wait, cocktail first and it was beautifully presented and very good. The current trend is for these enormous cubes or globes of ice that fit the rocks glass perfectly but I prefer smaller cubes to melt quicker and meld into the drink. Personal preference. My Cappucino was next and again, excellent. The skillet was divine. Seriously. Perfect portion, delicious ingredients freshly made together. The aforementioned were served atop a bed of perfect grits and baby spinach. Phenomenal. One small meh; the cutlery was that shiny plastic that mimics real metal eating implements and the lack of weight was a disappointment. Minor. But still....
