Driving around Texas eating BBQ on the Texas Monthly Top 50 list…read more Arrived at Dayne's Craft Barbecue early on a Friday as husband and I wanted to eat a couple of the kolaches and then wait for the BBQ. The kolaches are fresh, delicious and some of the best we have ever eaten. They have a nice large parking area. You walk inside are greeted by a smiling employee. We ordered, ate and talked to several people that work and run this great Barbecue place. While waiting to order BBQ one of the employees was walking around giving out a few free breakfast tacos! Wow, what a treat. When we finally ordered our food we got food to eat there and food to bring back home. Let me just say that is the sign of great BBQ if it's good on site to eat and good when you warm it up at home. Dayne's BBQ was and is some of the best we have had yet. We had the Trinity platter, the bacon brisket, broccoli grape salad and flamin hot street corn. The Trinity came with moist smoke ring brisket along with pork ribs and JALAPENO HAVARTI sausage. I highly recommend you make the drive to Dayne's Craft Barbecue

Overall, I cannot rank it high enough. 5 out of 5 easy!!!

My family and I have been eating at the butcher shop for a little over a year, pretty much weekly. It's our go to spot. We take our friends and family here anytime we want to treat them to a tasty meal! I have tried most of the items on the menu and truly have never been disappointed. For the longest time, the burger was my go to choice and the patty melt was my husband's go to. Both delicious! But our absolute favorite meal here lately is the brisket sandwich, a Thursday special, and I hate to even share this because I don't want them to sell out of it before we make it there on Thursday nights. It is SO tasty. The brisket is nice and juicy, and the sourdough bun makes for the perfect combination. You can't go wrong with the side you choose - French fries delicious, onion rings delicious, chips - you guessed it, also delicious. Kids meals - the grilled cheese is good, the chicken tenders are top notch. My husband and I often steal a bite of our kids' chicken fingers and every single time we say, "man these are good". Other meals I have tried that are delicious- chicken salad sandwich, hot ham and cheese, beef stew (so good!!!). Appetizers - Texas toothpicks are a must! And if talking about how good their food is wasn't enough to make you plan your next meal here... the staff are so incredibly kind. We love them! My husband and I truly love this restaurant and love everything we've tried. Try it out, but don't eat all the brisket!!

This was our second visit to CiBi's. We went for Mother's Day. It was just ok. The service was…read moreextremely slow, but a worker told us that they were short staffed that day. It took us over 2 hours to eat, but we figured since this was Italian, we should just relax and enjoy. The pizza is very good and I love that they have fresh jalapeños! For this reason, we will be back. My spaghetti was cold. My son ordered cacio e pepe and it was fettuccine Alfredo...definitely not cacio e pepe. The lasagna was very good. If you're looking for authentic Italian, I don't know that this is it, however the pizza is worth the trip and time.

Where do I start...so today is my birthday & I thought why not try somewhere new. I'd seen some…read morephotos of Cibi & saw it had a 4 star rating and I thought why not, let's go! So I jumped in the truck with my wife & drove 45 minutes anxiously anticipating delicious food and a great experience. Unfortunately, well..., I could've gotten twice the flavor & half the price at Olive Garden. Keep in mind I think Olive Garden is terrible but it still would've been better. Honestly I probably would've had a better experience hitting a Sbarro in a mall food court. Let's start first with the service. Our waitress was training, today was her first day, so this by no means was her fault. However the lady "training" her was doing anything but that. She was not there to support the new girl who was doing her best. When the training waitress came over finally I asked her about a dish that stated it had Hen of the Woods mushrooms in it & she stated "oh, we don't actually use those mushrooms. It just says that. We use whatever we have laying around". Ummmm, what? I guess that should've been my first clue to leave but instead I went ahead and ordered another dish that stated it had pancetta. Now, I know, based on what I was just told about the mushrooms I should've expected what happened next but when my food was brought to me it had half cooked small cut bacon in place of pancetta. The whole dish tasted like mush filled pasta swimming in bacon fat. There was no flavor other than that and it was very one note on texture. Aside from the strong bacon taste it was very bland as well. Prior to ordering we were fed a line about how the chef is from Italy, and these were his recipes, etc... and assuming this statement was true my best guess is that the chef is here now after being exiled from Italy after trying to serve this there. What I actually think is true is most likely the original chef is no longer there, the restaurant at one time was awesome but is now failing &, the "trainer" waitress is potentially one of the last remaining original workers who is doing her best to hide that she has lost her passion for the place too. To be honest it was sad. The table next to us was also celebrating a birthday and we could over hear their disappointment as well. This was also there first time visiting Cibi & while I did not ask them I am sure that like us, they will not be back. I must also add I saw observed another couple on what appeared to be a date that was there before us , and had still not received their order when I left. The male had gone to to front desk and let the staff know he was still waiting. This is sad. Cibi would be a great candidate for one of those Gordon Ramsay or Robert Irvine restaurant rescue shows. Hopefully something changes soon or I see this place not lasting much longer.

The girl who brought me my sandwich wore a mask endorsing her presidential candidate under a chin. It would honestly be better not to wear one at all if you're not wearing one correctly. I get that masks aren't fun, but it's reassuring to see a restaurant comply with health regulations. Personally, I'd love to take a break from the politics for a second and buy a sandwich. So maybe this shop isn't for me. However, I want to see small businesses succeed. The sandwich was great. The staff stayed busy. I probably am not the ideal customer, but may I suggest the Turkey, Ham, & Bacon with Jalepeno bread? It's very good.

They are open until 7 during the week which makes it much easier to get there. We ordered pints of chicken salad because honestly, it's the best item on their menu. March was Ruben sandwich month and since their sign was still up, I asked if it was still an option, which it was. I did not get a chance to try it and I love Ruben sandwiches, so I ordered one along with a loaf of the sourdough bread and pecan cobbler because my Mom loves their cobbler. The Ruben was ok; I would have preferred more sauerkraut. The restaurant location is right across a school and on a main roadway. Timing the time you visit this location is key if you are in a hurry. Avoid school dismissal and potentially "rush" hours. Right now the northbound lanes close to the highway are reduced to a single lane during construction so commute in this direction is extremely time consuming if you aren't careful. The restaurant is never crowded and has an open seating floor plan so if you want to sit and enjoy a quiet lunch or early light dinner, this might be the perfect spot. They also have a small outdoor section.
