My husband and I wanted to try this place since we've never been. We got our ice cream and checked out. $24 total for just the two of us. INSANE. We had just sat down and were trying to enjoy our ice cream when some guy said "COCKROACH", I look over and there's a cockroach climbing up the wall between the toppings and the ice cream dispensers. So he hits it with his hand... it falls on the floor and he steps on it and the worker lady just went over and nonchalantly cleaned it off the floor quickly, like it was nothing. There was another worker girl behind the counter just laughing. My husband heard the guy say that it came from the M&M TOPPING at the topping bar. so you JUST KNOW cockroaches have been all in all those toppings. They asked for a discount and I'm pretty sure the lady just laughed. But we walked out as quick as we could. Ultimately, I was forced to eat cockroach ice cream. Horrible experience though we won't be back. Also, both worker girls were on their phones the whole time and weren't friendly or professional at all. read more

We were in this evening for a treat. The store was a little busy, but not terribly. The yogurt machines were slow to dispense the yogurt but probably because they had been busy. There was a decent selection of flavors, and a lot of toppings. We paid our tab and went to have a seat. ALL the tables and most of the chairs were dirty, with all the colors and flavors of Afro yo. She never greeted, was on her phone the entire time or in the back. At one point she took the bell away so people couldn't ding for her to come out. We come here often after school. Always people here getting yogurt but never see staff until you ring the bell. Then they stroll out, usually on there phone, don't say much of anything and then walk back to the back room and shut the door. We have been coming here for years. However, this is our last trip. After paying and tasting the Island Coconut that I have gotten for years, I was shocked by the spoiled flavor. I rang the bell to get the only employee back to the resister to let her know the issue. I also told her she needs to check it so that no one else experiences this unpleasant situation. She reluctantly grabbed a sample cup and took it over to the machine. Keep in mind, not a busy time. Then before getting her sample reported that she "hates coconut". After a quick taste and a sour tasted she states "I don't know, I don't even like it". She went back to the back and left this yogurt open that tasted of sour milk. How was I compensated for by full cup of spoiled gross mess? I WASN'T. So literally two tastes to make sure my suspicion was right and into the trash. Good location for easy access from Interstate 20 (westbound at least). We stopped in (again) on the way home from Granbury. Price point is good, just 35 cents per ounce. Store was clean and tidy and offered all the expected fro-yo toppings. I particularly liked the espresso flavor frozen yogurt. PS. Did not see any sorbet flavors this time. read more

We like to bring the kiddos to eat here every once in a while due to the good selection of yogurt flavors and toppings. Tonight was no different, but the young lady working tonight (02/14/2023) had ZERO personality and did not even greet us. Stayed on her phone the entire time we were in the store and even when checking us out. Would highly suggest looking for someone else. When we usually come in, there is a nice welcome or even hello. First off, my kids and I walked in and we didn't get greeted at all, just stared at the whole time. Then we went to pay and the employee couldn't get off her phone or her butt long enough to pay us any mind. She never got up or said a single thing. Just rudely stared. The same blonde cashier who sits on her phone, never looks up and obviously hates her life and her job was extremely rude to my daughter and I when we came in again. Yogurt Story is always clean and has such friendly staff whenever I stop by Weatherford. Their toppings are fresh, and they have a great selection. Free samples if you're not sure of committing to a specific flavor. I've never had a bad experience. A few more tart flavors would be nice, but that's not a knock on them. Finally! A new place to go to in Weatherford! I got the chance to go to Yogurt Story on Tuesday and it was absolutely wonderful! There are quite a few flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from, as there are toppings. The shop was very clean and the staff was great. Great place to hang out with friends or take your family. What I liked about Yogurt Story is that they have a bright and clean establishment with room seating. They had a good selection of yogurt flavors and one tart flavor - all tasted very fresh. We decided to end dinner one night with some froyo for dessert and just happened upon Yogurt Story. Pretty standard self-serve froyo place. A little pricier than CA prices but there isn't as much competition around. I was skeptical about them having any mochi but lo-and-behold there it was! The toppings bar here was actually pretty awesome - they had tons of choices! Decided to go with the default: plain tart yogurt, strawberries, mochi, and fruity pebbles. This place only tells one story. A disappointing one. There aren't many flavors, but they repeat like 3 flavors twice, just calling them something slightly different. The pineapple tart had absolutely no pineapple in it. It tasted like the base they use to make the frozen yogurt before they add flavors. Some of the toppings were old. The jelly beans were hard as a rock and that's not because they were cold from the frozen yogurt. They also say they have ice cold bottled water. Jokes on you, it's warm because someone is instructing the workers not to put it in the fridge. Fruit flies a plenty. The women's restroom was out of service, which wouldn't normally be a problem if they'd keep up with the one men's bathroom available. Pee all over the seat, dirty floor, dirty door and no toilet paper. Super disappointed. We will not be coming back. P.S. The lady working tonight was very nice. I come here multiple times a week, and never really run out of flavor combinations to try. The selection of soft serve flavors as well as toppings is great. Some people have left bad reviews commenting bout the cleanliness of the place, but I've been here around close many times and they clean the store front very thoroughly each night. The upholstered seats are a little worse for wear, but for a place that's seen regular traffic for years, that's not out of the ordinary. My daughter went in last night to order a smoothie. I went and did some shopping and a return to a store down the way and come back and she is still waiting on her smoothie. After 10 minutes that I sat in the car I walked in to see what the problem was. The guy in the car next to me had come in and out 3 times and was irritated also. I asked what the problem was and the little girl said with a giggle the smoothie machine doesn't work. I sat and watched her help about 10 people go thru the line while I was sitting in the car waiting and my daughter standing at the counter waiting. The food was great but the service was absolutely terrible. Went in with a friend of mine who ordered smoothies. The guy working in the back had stepped out for a second to see what our order would be I guess. As soon as he heard her tell the cashier smoothies, he gives my friend the dirtiest look and huffs into the back. The cashier smiled and told us "He just hates making smoothies, it's okay." So he hates making smoothies at the restaurant where that's one of the most common items on the menu? And in turn makes customers feel unwelcome because it's such an issue for him that he can't even keep dirty looks off his face.
