Along the way he also mentioned a lot of helpful tips and tricks for keeping the house well maintained and made some suggestions regarding the maintenance/repair/replacement of the HVAC system. We purchased a home that had a pre-listing inspection done. For the uninitiated to the current market, this generally solidifies that you're going to have to buy the house as-is, with no wiggle room whatsoever. But the pre-listing inspection wasn't done by Heartland Home Inspections. Ed Novak was thorough, meticulous, and cut zero corners. He found issues that were missed by the previous inspector- giving us the opportunity to either wiggle out of our contract, or push forward.
