We left feeling that customer service was not a priority. While I respect and support their mission, there are several bike shops in the Charleston area that provide much better customer service and take the time to answer questions and assist customers. A great mission and fair prices are important, but so is treating customers with patience and respect.

I only noticed this about five weeks later, and went in hoping they might switch for the desired tire with some discount for the replacement. Dan, the owner of the shop apologized and went much further than I had expected in ensuring my satisfaction in the overall experience. In 2026, to have this kind of old school (i.e., proper) customer service is rather exceptional. This kind of service requires customer loyalty in response.
