The workers did not have a truck big enough to haul all of the old chimney away, so Ted sent someone out on Mother's Day to take care of it. Ted personally came out a few days later to look at the work. We experienced very high winds the following week and our chimney cap blew off. Ted was out there the next day fixing the problem and ensuring it wouldn't happen again. Wow! We originally went with Fireplace Pros for some maintenance. Long story short, we learned our lesson and would not recommend them to anyone.

We are, however, disappointed by the lack of responses to inquiries about some visibly poor workmanship at the entry/approach. My husband reached out to Gary a couple of times. He responded to texts but no site visit to address what is poor workmanship. We understood the curing process would take time, however the disappointing workmanship near the entry has not been addressed. For these reasons, we would not recommend and, can't undo our decision to go with a different contractor that did a neighbor's driveway. Very unfortunate since pre-job (contract phase) they're on point. Post job....very disappointing The "splatter" along the edge of the approach is not a good look. This isn't a curing issue, this is poor workmanship that's not going away. Was hoping it would be addressed and possibly correctable so reached out early on. The 2nd pic with straw is nearly 4 weeks later. Again, that's not a curing issue. The opposite side is smooth. That gray messy "splatter" is not good!

Melissa and her crew did a complete repointing job on my 4,000 square foot three story french tudor. No easy job given the gables and the needed scaffolding. From the initial estimation to the final review, Melissa and her crew were top-notch. At the initial estimation stage, Melissa was thorough in her examination of the project and her explanation of the work to be done. She noted "i don't put my name on anything unless it is done right". And she was not kidding. She matched the mortar with a color wheel, gave me brick samples from which to choose the replacement bricks, and her workers (great guys) were hard working, courteous, and they cleaned up at the end of each day. And Melissa was on the site checking-in to make sure the work was of the quality she mandates. (If you have ever seen the tv show "Flipping Out" with Jeff Lewis, you can relate to having somebody like Melissa overseeing the project; you're glad she's on your side in making sure everything is exact.) She saw an area where the mortar leaked over the edge of a couple of the bricks. (I didn't even notice.) Her response? Unacceptable.... Get the worker to fix it so it's "right". I'm telling you, this is an outfit unlike so many other contractors with whom I've had to deal. And Melissa is more than fair on pricing. I knew her price was "competitive", but after seeing the quality of the work, I now realize i got one heck of a deal. In short, this is the best contractor with whom I've ever done business.
