Keaton's Spaghetti & House-Made Meatballs, relative did not eat meal..
    Kim H.

Family went here after a graduation. The atmosphere had a good vibe with music at good volume and service was good for our party of 9. The calamari was not great, as it was too hard, not sure if it was frozen. My meal was blackened Mahi and salad which was good. The biggest disappointment for my relative was the spaghetti and meatballs, as the meatballs were mushy and barely any sauce on pasta. Other younger family members stated gnocchi meals were just okay. I'm hoping to try another new location, and hoping food is better and more flavor.

One of us ordered medium and the other medium rare, but there was no difference between our steaks. A little too rare for me.

This is a place I go to often, and there is always something that could be better. I wanted to try their brunch and wasn't pleased with the selection. The steak and eggs sounded like a good idea and we'd start with the caramel donuts. Everything tasted pretty good, but the eggs were on the cold side and the streak was not done. I was already disappointed with the time it took to get our order in (those seated after us were taken care of ahead of us - two tables if not three) and to get our food, so I didn't want to return anything to the kitchen. I recommend trying the Scarletto wine as it was very good. The mimosas are good as well and at $5 each during brunch, that's a good deal. Be sure to get reservations because it gets very busy around noon.

I absolutely love Coopers Hawk. We are wine club members and get complimentary wine tastings and wines bottles to go each month. The food there is delicious. This place is a go to American restaurant for me.

We are wine club members. We regularly wine and dine here. The bar is our go-to hang out. We have had too many bad experiences in the dining room. BUT the bar is great. Sitting at the bar makes for a good experience. We enjoy wine and bourbon. Their cocktails are also a good option. The best part of dining in the bar is the staff. Several of the staff are regular. Those we have just recently encountered are also very attentive.

Very solid place for dinner. I got a non alcoholic wine and a non alcoholic cocktail both were really enjoyable. The seating is comfortable and the service was fast and friendly. I liked that they had healthy options on the menu under a special section it made selecting what to eat easy. My friends and I also split the Brussel sprouts which were at 10/10! We also got the chocolate cake and bruschetta. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken off the healthy menu and it was really good! A bit soupy but still good. I would come back to try more on the menu!

After a long day, my husband and I wanted to try the Cooper's Hawk in our community. We made reservations, as it was strongly suggested on a Saturday evening. We arrived a bit early, but were seated rather quickly in the bar area. The football games were on the televisions, the atmosphere was pleasant and our waiter was everything you didn't know you needed. He was warm, comical and very knowledgeable of the menu. He recommended some options, which we really enjoyed. At the end of our dinner he gifted us with a dessert, welcoming us to the neighborhood. Don't want to use his name but he was a very charming young man and he made our dining experience top tier.

This place was packed, and it's no wonder why. The bar area was especially difficult to wade through to get to the host station. We were on the early side for dinner, but it quickly filled in. I love the pretzel bread with the soft butter. The surf and turf options allows for a choice from 3 from each column, so you really can get the exact right dish you want. The scallops gratin is so buttery with a great crust on top. The churrasco steak was tender and juicy. The smores budino is a truly special way to finish off the meal. With layers of toasted marshmallow, rich chocolate pudding, and finely ground graham cracker crust was an elevated experience of the childhood smores treat. The tables were kind of packed in close, but the service was great, and all the food was delicious and came at a reasonable time. Great place for family and friends to meet up.

I went to this location for brunch. It wasn't packed at all. The service was a little slow but the waiter was very friendly. The food came out hot, the portion sizes were good, and it was seasoned very well. The only downside about the brunch menu is it's mostly an a la carte menu. You'll have to order eggs or bacon separately as a side. The ambiance for brunch was great. It was family oriented, there weren't a lot of people, and it was calm.

Salmon and mashed potatoes with broccoli - sad and dry.

Food was not good and order incorrect. Ordered: chef recommended item seasonal menu- pork chop with potato's and a fruit chutney. Asked if the item could be modified to include potato's but not the sauce. Was advised after checking it was ok I did offer to pick something else. See pic received small burnt looking protein with no potato's and a died up sauce/fruit relish and one stalk of broccoli. Also ordered salmon with potato's and broccoli- fish was dry. One key lime pie - best item. Total was prior to tip 84.77 Worst food I've had at used to be one of my favorite spots. We do not have a location where I live so I have always been happy when I travel for work and there is one close by until now. Order placed at 8pm arrived and paid around 8:40 and still waited until 9 for subpar food. Date ordered 01/13/2026

Seared Atlantic Salmon (life of balance menu) Very dry, overcooked and underwhelming for 26 dollars.

I'm very happy that we decided to give another chance to this restaurant. Everything was great,I was vey impressed by their wine list,so many rare to see options of wines. I tried ahi tuna entree, with sticky rice and yummy Asian Cole slaw, was very tasty, especially two types of sauces they offered to compliment tuna. Portion was on the small side, but everything was balanced out and delicious. My family enjoyed steak trio and skirt steak. Next time we will try appetizers to share, they looked great.

Northern Virginia has a lot of winery options, but Bluemont offers a few things that make it special. First of all, it's huge - tons of indoor and outdoor seating on two levels. They take reservations. We made for one for noon on Saturday. We were seated upstairs/indoors but eventually moved to their upstairs deck (we were there for hours and wanted a change of scenery). Their views are incredible. You can see the Blue Ridge Mountains from practically anywhere on the property! I hadn't seen my friends in months, so we stayed for almost five hours. We started with their white wine flight, and then we had a few bottles, too. We also ate (beef empanadas, a flatbread, and some black bean hummus). We enjoyed most of the wines (between the flights and bottles, I think we tried 6 whites and 1 rose), and the food was pretty good, too. The service was great - Lily and Rose were our servers (there was a shift switch, since we were there for almost 5 hours) and they were wonderful. They were a little busy downstairs when we arrived, but it's such a large space that there was plenty of seating for more. (It seems to be a spot on wine tours, because there were a few buses when we arrived.) I'm not sure if you really need a reservation, but I'm glad we had one since our plan was to eat lunch at the winery. We had a great time at the winery. There are also two lawns with a hard separation--one for families and an adults-only space, which seems like a good way to be inclusive of both families and adults who are tired of children running wild at wineries/breweries. Emma talked us throihh each selection and happily answered all our questions about wine. After our tasting we were hungry and decided to get two pizzas and some dips. I also tried their cider which was yummy. The pizza was good, we had the mushroom flatbread and pepperoni pizza. Both were yummy or we were really tipsy lol! Leesburg 'Gourmet' was a business selling very expensive German wines, overpriced (import) chocolates from Belgium, 'beer' from all kinds of new englnd joints (for the tourists I suppose) and mugs, saucers and beer taps.. To me 'Gourmet' was just a little bit oppressive and too haphazard. Let me explain. I made some way obnoxiously priced purchases from the gal behind the counter - then half way into that the phone rang. Then the gal yacked. Then while I was chatting, some 'beer guy' came in with what just looked (and reeked) like a cooler for fishing and tried to sell the place MORE beer. It was too yokel for me. The chocolates I bought could have been found any place in D.C. and there was not much in the way of courtesy after spending $25! The place was NOT ACd and the owners (I was told) were off golfing some place.. Typical. This gourmet turned into a phone-booth, which in turn became a chat-shop, hiring fair and finally a lost corner storelet which bank-rolls some ritzy local couples' mid-week bonanza in other states.. There was one clammy person running this place. Review: 3

Let me first add the context that I don't really identify as a wine drinker, but will still occasionally visit vineyards because I think the experience is nice. 61 vineyard was a cool spot for sure. They have a nice open location with tons of space (I think they said around 40 acres) and they've been expanding their main location for the four years that they've been open. They have a main tasting room, an expansion seating room, and an outdoor patio area that are all well maintained and great for parties of all sizes. I partook in the wine tasting which was very good and the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to (which I find often makes or breaks wine tasting experiences) The wine itself does seem on the pricier end for what I'm used to where I think the average bottle here goes for over $20. But there are also member and subscription types of services to take advantage of discounts. I'm not entirely sure if they have relationships with food vendors, but they didn't have many food option in the main location itself when we were there. The food options that I saw were prepackaged charcuterie packs, so I would keep that in mind for your visit. All in all a very nice winery spot and would recommend even if wine isn't typically your drink of choice.
