Do NOT go here! My girlfriend , who is autistic, went here. They treated her terribly. My GF has a lot of social anxiety etc. She let the doctor and his staff know about her disability and explained to them that getting glasses and all the steps where "a first" for her. They were very impatient and unkind to her. She called twice to see when her glasses would be ready (again, this was all new to her) and on the second call, they told her she was impatient and hung up on her. The doctor berated her and he basically was a condescending bitch. Unfortunately, I was out of town at the time or I would have gone with her to the appointment. If you want great glasses then go to Market Optical at UVillage. THEY are the BEST in town. They do not discriminate and belittle people with disabilities. read more

The selection of unique frames here is second to none, and I've been to a number of [great] shops searching for the perfect pair. Rarely does a day pass that I don't get compliments on these glasses..I even had a barista at my coffeeshop motion from 25 feet away 'Nice glasses!' with his finger pointing to his own glasses and mouthing the words so as not to shout. I just got my second pair of glasses at Coopers Optique, and I love them. They are unique--red in front, rainbow on the sides--custom made, no less. They are really comfortable. The Grames are mostly wood--except for the earpieces which are adjustable, They were not inexpensive, but Zach made sure I had all the right information to get what my insurance would need to reimburse me. These are my everyday glasses! (I had to wait about 6 weeks, but the frames were custom made in Italy!) The other pair are red and black with stripes and dots--people notice them. Those were initially uncomfortable until they replaced the nose pads (for free), now I can wear them all day! She's super patient and when you give her feedback about what you're looking for she scours their inventory for multiple options. Every brand / collection has an inspiration for it's creation.
