It's a nice park. Very well taken care off, the fields are in good condition. The grounds crew does a good job up keeping the fields even I wet and rainy conditions. The parking lot is kind of a mess, fills up quick, tight spots and easy for someone to hit your rental car. The concessions stands are nothing spectacular, prices are definitely steep. The fields all have boards around the entire field and you can only watch from the selected spectator area, making it hard to watch any other game or any of the skills competitions. Overall it was a neat experience though.

Spent a weekend here and had a mixed experience. First the fields are incredibly scaled down, 200 feet to the back fence. The conditions were hit and miss. The opening ceremony ran almost 2.5 hours....could easily be cut to one hour. The sound system was a mess, in and out of working on ceremony day. Typical overpriced concessions. The place for spectators to sit and watch the games are pathetic. For what the teams and families pay to be there, you'd think they had something better than cheap plastic chairs. Parking at opening ceremony is a nightmare. Plan on getting there well over an hour before the opening ceremony if you want a halfway decent parking spot and seat in the stadium. The parking lot is a mess in general though. Came out after a game and someone had hit and run our rental car, damaging the back. The umpires here are hit and miss, very inconsistent. I think it can be a good experience, but there is several areas for room for improvement.

Great place! Super fun for kids. Food could be better though. Totally recommend Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Theft is prevalent here. Watch out! Your things will all be stolen from your room. Bunks do not have locks and staff doesn't care.

I signed up for a class by using there App called "NorthStar Sports". Jerry, and the rest of his team took notice of what I could and could not do and pushed me to my limits. The Northstar team is very professional, while also being friendly. It is a fun environment with music playing as they train you. They have every ball imaginable and two basketball hoops in the facility. The best way to describe a workout is that they work many different muscles. At one point I was on the treadmills, then on an erg machine, then lifted light weights for reps that worked my back and finished it off with some plate pushes. They also offer a shake for once you are done with the class. Shakes cost $4, strawberry was awesome.

They worry about every participant equally, regardless of their age or skill level and go to athletes' competitions to support them. Kickball, or what I tend to call adult kickball, is a lot of fun. I've now played in the WAKA…read morekickball leagues in Albany since 2010. It was initially for something to occupy my time one night a week to do something locally. For those who follow my Yelp reviews, you can tell that I spend a chunk of my time out of town (by choice), but I wanted an outlet within my home area to have fun, meet new people, etc. Kickball, with its 8 week regular season plus playoffs, seemed to be a good fit for me, and some friends of mine that live in North Carolina play in an adult kickball league down there and subliminally encouraged me to get into the sport. Some people sign up for the kickball league individually as a free agent to be placed on a team or as part of a small group and get placed on a team that needs the players. Other people will sign up as part of a full team. In any respect, if you want to play kickball, there will be a place for you. Some people who play kickball are natural athletes, but others (such as myself) are able to play even with not much natural athletic ability and still enjoy themselves. By design, adult kickball is a social sport, and after the games (which usually take about an hour from start to finish), teams are able to go to the specially designated kickball bar to socialize with players from their team as well as players from other teams. Kickball players have been known to play a relaxing game of flip cup while at the bar as well. The long or short of the matter is, if you're looking for a fun way to occupy some of your time, besides reading some awesome Yelp reviews, I think that WAKA Kickball is where its at.
