A nice way for my son and I to kill some time and the people working there were very nice. They do serve beer and have an ice cream parlor. The mini golf course isn't the greatest, but it does have neat metal history placards spread around it. Nice atmosphere, but if you are looking for a challenging, "high tech" golf experience, then this place isn't going to satisfy your needs. read more

We were a group of six and had a great time at Barnyard Swing! 18 holes of mini-golf. The course is decent and MUCH better than the other mini-golf place down the road. After hitting the links, we went for ice cream at the Sassy Cow (part of the same complex) and it was delicious. The staff, two young ladies who were very friendly, recommended a flavor I wouldn't typically get and it was top notch. Definitely try the dish with ice cream and tiny, warm pancakes! read more

ou have kids, don't bring them here! We came today in a group, 7 kids and 5 adults. The kids got ahead of us so we did not see what this employee did. At hole 18th, you are supposed to hit the ball hard so it goes under an iron grate and bounces up into a bucket. One ball bounced against the iron grate and it moved, so the kids went inside the store to advise the employee. She stormed outside, took all the balls and clubs from the kids, and put a lock on the grate to secure it in its place (maybe that lock should have been there to start with!). We saw the kids just sitting on chairs waiting for us, without know what had just happened. Minutes later this employee told them that they can't stay there and they had to go inside. So they went inside and decided to buy ice cream. They asked for a sample of the ice creams right where it says they give samples. 1 kid asked for a second sample, when this lady just told them to get out and sit in the front porch. A kid asked her to let them get his parents, and she would not let them get up or leave! She came to us and told us that the kids were "harassing" her staff. Unbelievable. Very poor customer service from the older employee. They have not patience or understanding. Horrible experience. Do not come here! read more

Our Cooperstown team held its team party here. We could have a tent, picnic tables and fire pit to ourselves and use their grill. We brought our own food and even adult beverages in. The kids played western laser tag and mini golf. Kids seemed to like the ice cream and malts. Recommend for a fun team party. read more

My friends and I had some time to kill and decided to play some mini golf here. We were completely satisfied by the friendly staff and the mini golf course. There was another mini golf place down the same road, but we actually turned around because of the poor quality just from the looks. Here at Barnyard Swing, we had exactly the kind of mini golf we wanted. A nice stream down the center of the course and some challenging holes with plenty of obstacles. My only gripe here was that there are really only 17 holes to play because the 18th is what you shoot to win a free ice cream. So we felt slightly jipped but it didn't matter because I sunk the skee-ball style hole-in-one for a free ice cream! Thanks for the great time! Note: They know if you try to cheat to win the free ice cream, so just putt it straight or else you'll get nothing! read more

Back to back years at Dreams Park for my boys and both times Barnyard Swing exceeded our expectations! The owners are lovely and accommodating. You can bring your own food and grill or have the food brought in (highly recommend Mascots for the catering). Best place for team parties or just good old family fun. HIGHLY recommend. read more

If this business has an opening for a team party, book it right away! Our team was able to host our team party at Barnyard Swing due to a last-minute cancellation. The use of the party tent, picnic tables, and grill are free when your group plays putt-putt and laser tag. The business also supplies the paper products and a large chest cooler if you want to bring your own food and beverages. They even sliced up a watermelon and served it up on a party platter for us! To keep things simple, we ordered food from Tickled Pink BBQ (check out the pink pig smoker), which sells food on the premises. The BBQ was delicious, economical, and generously portioned. The staff for both businesses couldn't be nicer, and our team left well-fed and with fond memories of our week in Cooperstown. Couldn't recommend more highly. read more

I wish there were a way to give this place 10 stars. It was the absolute highlight of our trip - and the trip was pretty magical already. We had a team party there and it was so perfect we were joking that it must be a twilight zone episode and we would find out what the catch was when we tried to leave. The staff couldn't be friendlier, the laser tag is a blast and they let you use their tent and grills for no charge. Really really perfect. read more
