Nice atmosphere, great bartenders and a great outdoor patio space. Didn't get to try the food, but it looks delicious.

So if you've been reading any posts. I'm not much of a drinker, What does bar has a really good selection? A liquors, but a little limited on beer. My buddy, is that drink here? Say they do pour a good drink, So they have that going for it. Every. One here raves about all the food from the kitchen and you can see that the Carney saprised. My friend had we're getting polished off and everything that i've had here in the past, including carney asada tacos and a very good bowl, of pasole turns out to be extremely good. Others have told me they make a fantastic green chili burger. This is definitely the epitome of a dive bar or a hole in the wall kind of place to eat. The music here is quite often really loud. And kids are allowed, but it's not the best place to bring the family. The service is a little bit light in terms of getting around you again. After you get your first drink at the bar. I'm giving you four stars because the food is so good here though. read more

This is a little hole in the wall bar. Old. But the people who hang out here are all very nice and welcoming! Bartender is always so friendly. Food is minimal and, although I have not yet eaten here, everyone tells me it is very good. So, soon I will try the food too. This place is one of the most friendly bars I have gone too since moving in this area. Matthew was my bartender and he was so nice and attentive. It is pretty small and personable but that's what I find authentic about it, very hospitable. Weekdays they have a free pool table so it's a cool place to hang after work! The best part is that some nights they have live music, I just happen to be there when Kevin was playing the drums and it was amazing! All in all i would call this an amazing dive bar with great energy. The owner should be very proud of this establishment! 5/5 stars read more

Stopped in for a drink and dinner, bartender was quick to take drink order and bring menu but never came back to take food order. Decided to leave after finishing my pitcher of beer with no one checking on me to see if I needed another drink or place a food order. Holy stink hole! I ordered wings just to be told that this sewage smell (apparently coming from the men's room) is from the vents working from the kitchen that is cooking my order.... The most diverse Dive Bar in the valley. Great people, great food, great bartenders. Every time I go I enjoy it more and more.

First time there (afternoon) and probably would not repeat. I drink amber beers and while they did have only Dos Equis Amber, it was not even close to cold. It also cost me $5 for what is to me a domestic bottle of beer and it appeared that the barkeep rang it up as a No Sale, don' t know what happened to my money. Based on my one experience at Coops, I am giving it a single solitary star. We were trying to day drink there at about noon on a Saturday, but the place was a messy, greasy wreck from the night before. No one else was in there. The overall vibe was low. read more

Couldn't figure out if this place for teens or strictly for Latinos. We arrived around 6-7, but DJ was setting up all Latin music only. I am not sure at all about "grill" part of a name .... We love this place! The whole staff are awesome! They treat you like family! They know how to show their customer's a good time. Very respectful and they have a dance floor and a DJ every weekend! Love the drink specials! It's good time So if your in Peoria anytime you want to get out this would be a spot for a drink and a snack for the night or weekends you can do the whole club thing! I really enjoyed the bar and the wings I ordered there today! This is not my first time there but I wanted to mention a few things quickly. First and foremost like I said I had a great overall experience. My drinks were made promptly and the way I asked for by Catherine (bartender) she greeted me as soon as I walked into the door and when other guest came in she also greeted them promptly. She was very attentive to what I wanted and asked if I would like anything to eat. I ordered some wings. They came out in due time and I liked how they came out exactly as I ordered them. Now since I work in the bar industry I couldn't help but notice a few things. Catherine didn't have a barback that I could see was there for her. She was filling ice and even cooked my food so I didn't have to wait. I greatly appreciate her level of customer service but without the help that should be there she could be missing out on orders that are not her own fault. The sign up on the wall said Chris should had been her support staff but for the few hours I was there he stocked maybe a case of beer. To me this is unacceptable and could hurt your business as the bartender will miss orders since she can only do so many things at one time. I will visit again but I don't like that Catherine doesn't have regular and consistent support staff that a bartender should have. Like I said at the end of the day this will hurt coops overall business and the incomes of the bartender and the barback that needs to be present more often. Thank you coops for your establishment, I will stop back again. Oh and Catherine's wings were amazing by the way!!! read more
