Free poker ran by Ace 9 Poker Productions and is the most legitimate and well ran free poker in the valley that I've personally seen. The bartenders are not just friendly; they're exceptional and always on top of their game. You can bring your own food, but they also have some tasty snacks behind the bar. After about a year of coming here, it genuinely feels like a home away from home. It's such a delight to walk into a bar and recognize 90% of the faces. They treat newcomers and regulars alike with the utmost friendly and consistent service. The recent remodel looks fantastic, adding even more charm to this beloved spot. This may be one of the lady bars to offer almost every flavor of Three Olives Vodka. Good selection of whiskey and Tequila. Quite a few beers. They don't have food. Luckily there is a Chinese restaurant (Big Heng) and a great Italian place that delivers pozza, wings and some good meals (Dons NY). They have menus behind the bar for you to order from. I have been going into Neighbors bar off and on since they opened their doors and were only half the size they are now and had no dart boards. Since before I had children (who are now more than old enough to go in there.) It has always been a nice clean bar, good bartenders,great patrons and super good drinks... Until last night. A female friend and I went in there for a drink and after waiting some time for dora to get around to us, (We sat at the bar) she didn't want to serve my friend and we were informed by dora she didn't think it was a good idea for us to be there because my son and his girl (jorden) were there and jorden apparently has some issue with my friend. After assuring dora we were just there for a drink she served us. While we sat there talking to each other and a few ppl we knew we could hear jorden talking crap about my friend being rude, obnoxious, and loud. One of our friends wanted to buy another beer for my friend but dora refused to serve her and told us we had to leave because jorden clearly had an issue with my friend. Despite the fact that the only one causing a scene was jorden we were kicked out of neighbors for no reason whatsoever. I would not recommend neighbors bar to anyone because of dora and jorden. I will be recommending Marino's which is right down the street and is just as nice with great bartenders, super drinks, friendly patrons and no drama queens or bartenders that cater to their whims read more

This is the worst dive bar I have ever been to. The service is super bad. The bartenders left me sitting at the bar for at least a half an hour not acknowledging my presence. I felt ignored. I have been to Neighbors bar a few dozen times in the past few yrs. I was in there this past week after shpping at the pawn shop. I needed to use the rest room. I walked in and went to the john and as I was leaving the bartender yelled at me to buy something next time if I want to use the facilities. I knew this woman and thought she knew me. I guess not. I was upset about it and can understand if I never had been there they have a reasonable expectation that I would be a customer. It was the tone of the demand. I thought I was in NY,NY. I dont think neighbors is my idea of a neighborhood bar anymore. Looks like their nearest competitor will gain my business from now on. I just don't like being talked to in that way. read more

Ok so wow I will not be coming back to this bar. I took a friend here to play a game of pool because its like right down the street from me and we wanted to have a beer and shoot a game. This place is the best NEIGHBORHOOD Bar on the West side ! It might look like your average dive bar, but the people are what make this place great. You see a lot of fun regulars, they have great drink specials BUT by far the greatest thing about this bar is the bartender Nicole ! She is on fire, she can handle a full house all by herself, she makes GREAT drinks, and she is quick and precise and always does an outstanding job. She used to work at another establishment and when she moved about 3/4 of the Bar moved with her, including me ! She is THAT good ! the Other bartenders are great as well, dont get me wrong, but if you are lucky enough to get served by Nicole you will have a terrific night ! This is a little hole in the wall place that is full of fun. They have affordable drink prices, 50 cent pool, poker tournaments and a great juke box selection. There is a good group of regulars that hang out there and it gets pretty busy on Friday night. Went to this bar last night. This is a great bar to hang out in. There is always something going on from free poker, to darts, pool tournaments, and all kinds of TV's with sports from football to hockey. The wait staff is awesome. Especially the evening staff. The bartenders make you feel like you are walking into their home every time you come in. It is obvious they love their job which is a great reflexion of the owner. The drink prices can't be beat. I will absolutely never put money towards this bar again. One of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had at a bar. Charged 12 effing dollars on soda!!!!!! Serious blows my mind that they would not give a single refill to a flat soda and then not tell you that they charge you per 8 oz cup. On top of that the bartender there is nothing but rude and has a terrible attitude towards patrons of the bar. To top it all off this bar smells awful and in the 3-4 hours I had to be there to play league I didn't see more than 4 people under the 50 age group. Granted their patrons age is not their fault but service was atrocious, soda was flat and charged per glass which I'm sorry your a hole in the wall bar in Peoria not some uptown Scottsdale bar who the Ef do you think you are, tables were mediocre, and overall experience was one of the worst bar experiences of my life if I could give 0 stars I would and will continue to warn anyone and everyone that there are 5+ bars in a 2 mile are that will be 10x the experience.
