To go into further detail 1) We requested for them to not give our child "sugar water" but they did so without asking permission or even addressing us the parents. 2) We asked for them to not give the mother anything else besides the epidural but then they decided to hook up "oxyTocin" without asking for consent or even making it known that they were going to. 3) A big subject that we requested was that there be no students in the room or doing anything operational wise. Which then they proceeded to have a student not only do the insertion of the epidural but they also were coming in and out to observe and help. And that is just 3 of the 6 things that we requested 2: Lying When we asked for me, "the dad" to be able to oversee the circumcision they told me that I was unable to because they didn't permit it, but then the surgeon that was going to be doing the operation then told me that yes I could and allowed me. They went above and beyond to make my daughter comfortable by chatting with her about her and explaining everything. My daughter to scared and crying but they continued to console her and used techniques to make her less anxious. I highly recommend this staff for any kids or even adults needing this treatment. My daughter said to me, "I REALLY like her!!!" As we got into the mri department.

They had to bring in 3 different carts of equipment to get my husbands vitals. the first two sets of equipment didn't work. Again, everyone is short staffed, right? The equipment the surgeon requested months in advance, and that was required for the surgery we were there for, wasn't on the premises. The surgeon had to rearrange his schedule while they hunted it down and got it to the hospital. After getting up at the crack of dawn, and not eating, when hubs finally went into surgery just before 2pm, there was no food available in the facility. I had to walk over to the fairgrounds. I can't think of anything that went right. It would have all been ok if the surgery gone well, but I believe the surgeon was unduly stressed by the lack of support by the facility. Unless they make significant changes, I'd say steer clear of this hospital.

Severe Diagnostic Failure and Patient Neglect I am writing…read morethis review out of deep concern for the safety of future patients at this facility. During my stay, the medical staff failed to properly review my lab results, leading to a premature and dismissive psychological diagnosis that could have resulted in permanent physical harm. I presented to the hospital with progressing, visible neurological symptoms, including severe numbness, burning, vision changes and more. Despite repeatedly informing the staff that my condition was worsening after admission, the treating physician dismissed my physical symptoms as psychological because the mri's came back negative, stating they were "in my head," and repeatedly insisted that I needed a psychiatrist. Alarmed by this dismissal, I reviewed my own lab work and discovered that my Vitamin B6 level was significantly elevated at 80.8 ng/mL--well over double the normal limit and a definitive indicator of B6 toxicity (hypervitaminosis B6). Every single one of my neurological symptoms perfectly correlated with this toxic exposure. Incredibly, while I was experiencing active B6 toxicity, the hospital was actively administering multivitamins and melatonin to me, which directly exacerbated my condition. When I brought the lab results to the physician's attention, he initially argued and went back and forth with me. Only after I insisted that he consult another physician did he review the data properly, return, and apologize. Had I not intervened and audited my own medical records, I would have been discharged to go home and continue taking the supplements that were actively poisoning my nervous system. My primary concern is the systemic "domino effect" of damage this hospital's culture creates. Writing off complex, undiagnosed physical illnesses as mental health issues causes profound patient confusion, creates unnecessary family arguments, and delays life-saving or sight-saving care. Dismissing physical pathology as a psychiatric issue because a physician cannot immediately find the answer is dangerous medical practice. This was a horrific experience, and the facility needs immediate oversight regarding how lab results are audited.
