Wife has a flat tire. We're brand new to town. Zero local connections. Panic level: catastrophic. So I start calling mechanic shops around town. Most of them treated my situation like I had interrupted the last 30 seconds of the Super Bowl. "Yeahhhh we're about to close." Cool. Outstanding. Appreciate the tremendous support. Then I called Parker Tire & Alignment. And Colin answered. Brother... this man didn't sound annoyed. He didn't sound rushed. He sounded like a first responder arriving at the scene of an automotive natural disaster. I'm convinced alarms started going off in the shop the second I explained the situation. "Woman stranded."
