They called us while we were in our way to check on us and let us know what to expect when we arrived. We arrived late and realized our campsite was on the other end of the resort far from the restrooms. Since we are traveling with an our grandpa who is mobility impaired who can't walk the distance, we called and they accommodated us and put us right in front of the restrooms. They live up to the name Riverfront, because we were able to walk to the river. Also there was a playground for the kiddos to play in, a very nice pool, and showers/restrooms were spacious and clean! Definitely worth the visit and we will be back to stay again

It is a short driving distance to three very good wineries and the beautiful St. Mary's Church overlooking Altus. It is secluded away from highway nose, yet close enough to gas and dining options. I work remote IT security and own a motorhome, and volunteered to bring her down while I worked. Thankfully I can work from anywhere. T-mobile signal is great from this location (I have T-mobile internet in my motorhome, Starlink when I need to break it out, but I didn't have to in this case). The stay was $40 a night. Met the owner, he was nice, the process was simple, the location was beautiful, had all the electrical, water, sewage, everything was great. It was the closest location to the convention center we found. We were initially going to stay at the state park, which is apparently only $25 a night, but frankly it was 13 miles away and the check in process is confusing on the state park site, so we just stayed at Over The Hill. This was a cute little 2 bedroom cabin (mobile home) with a queen size bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other and a futon in the living room. The cabin was clean with plenty of room for us to relax. (We were so exhausted from a horrible stay at another cabin that we slept most of the time we were here). It had a big tub for soaking and plush bath towels. The owners were very friendly, so was their cute dog. The grounds were nice and kept up and there were picnic tables in between the cabins. I wish they would have had a recliner in the living room and something softer than the futon to sit on. There were four adults so it wasn't very comfortable. There were only a few channels that came in on the tv, but we didn't watch much anyway. If we are ever that way again, we will probably stay there.
