I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Khavari and Carrollton Foot Center. After seeing another…read moredoctor who told me I needed surgery and would have to spend four months in a boot, I came to Dr. Khavari for another opinion -- and I am so glad I did. After just one visit, she gave me real relief from the pain and addressed my issue without surgery. She listened, explained everything clearly, and took a much more thoughtful and practical approach to my care. The difference was immediate, and I truly felt like I was in the right hands. Dr. Khavari is an excellent doctor, and the entire team deserves recognition as well. The nurses and office staff are top notch -- kind, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. I highly recommend Dr. Khavari and Carrollton Foot Center to anyone dealing with foot or ankle pain. This is exactly how medical care should be.

Her staff was also super friendly and they even allow you to have an emotional support puppy (Nala) sit with you while you go through uncomfortable procedures. I highly recommend her for any foot and ankle issues you might have in the future. I came in with a dislocated pinkie toe and found out it was actually dislocated AND broken and she reset it with zero pain and took X-rays to confirm it was back in place. She was able to see me first thing the following morning after I called her office.

I went to see Dr. Suh last July because of his fabulous reviews. I went because of a bump, maybe a cyst, on the top of my foot above my big toe that was painful when my shoe rubbed against it. He told me he would remove it, and that the X-Rays showed that I had bone on bone in my big toe, and that he could put a pin in it to fix it. At that time, I had no pain in my big toe, even though my records say that I did. I agreed to the surgery. Today, after seeing the X-rays, I saw that I have a plate at the joint, not a pin, but several screws. I never knew that because I had never seen the X-ray taken after surgery. Communication was severely lacking. My new doctor explained what had happened to my foot and how the second toe is paying a part in all this because of the toe surgery, and why I am in pain and why it is getting worse. During my time with Dr. Suh, I bought several pairs of shoes that were recommended, and I spent $500 on custom orthotics that I can't wear. When I purchased them, I was told they could be adjusted if they didn't work, but when I went back to Dr. Suh he told me they couldn't be adjusted and I would need to buy a bigger shoe. I now have pain in my foot that I didn't have before I saw Dr. Suh. I wish I had known last July what I know now. I would have steered clear of him.

Don't forget to celebrate getting both of those chores done by getting a bubble tea at Fruitealicious when you are finished! This is my routine when I come here! I had a Morten's neuroma in my right foot that was causing crippling pain. I had my initial Morten's neuroma tumor removed about 14 years ago, but the pain around the surviving nerves created another one (they call these replacement tumors 'phantom neuromas,' but they are quite real). It was killing me, so I went to see Dr. Miller. The treatment for these lovelies has changed substantially over the past decade. Instead of digging into my foot to remove it, Dr. Miller did a series of shots to deaden the inflamed nerves. I had to get this done for 8 weeks. The shot (directly into the nerve in your foot) hurt like a mutha, but only for a second or two before it was numbed for the next 24 hours. During the numbing, the healing began. It was less painful with every shot. The good news--the crippling pain is gone, and should be forever. Hooray! The bad news, my exercise routine needs to begin again and I've gotten used to be a lazy woman.
