Dr. Borgfeld performed it and the next morning, still in the hospital I noticed bleeding under the skin. He said it was just a hematoma and it would stop. Well, five days later I had to go into the hospital for a transfusion, as I had lost over a pint of blood which was pooling in the lower abdomen. I also had extreme pain. In March I had to go back to the ER and was diagnosed with enlarged kidneys because the ureters were both narrowed in the lower abdomen and I was near kidney failure. They had to put in stints which caused extreme pain and bleeding. I pretty much spent a month in bed because the pain was so bad. The ureters are better, but will not totally recover. I would avoid this doctor as he did not do anything about the bleeding when I called his office several times. The pooling of the blood in the lower abdomen caused the kidney problems.

My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! I asked for it to be removed because the bill was already huge! It was about 6.000$ ! CRAZY ! They are the most expensive in this area, but they turned out to be such scammers! I'm shocked!

These are the only type of lenses that have successfully corrected her vision. Since we live in Baltimore, the home of the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), it was natural for us to first seek treatment at JHU, but they were unable to adequately fix her vision. We then found Dr. G and he performed a miracle with his lenses. When we returned to Baltimore with my wife's corrected vision and told the physicians at JHU that Dr. G in Texas corrected her vision problem, they asked to see her lenses, and they were amazed at what Dr. G had done and admitted they cannot duplicate his results, so we continue to see Dr. G whenever we need an adjustment or 'fine tuning' due to my wife's changing medical condition. This has made my eyes extremely light sensitive and its difficult for me to leave my home, look at computers, or do many of the things that most people can do with ease. I also have Lyme disease which is probably why my Lasik didn't turn out very well. I got Prose lenses 5 years ago through a clinic at UCSF and found them to help both my SLK And Neuropathy, but this past year or two they became uncomfortable to the point that I couldn't wear them. I found out that replacing them would cost 20,000 which was impossible for me, so I researched a little bit online, and found out about Dr. Gemoules. I was excited because it sounded like his lenses would fit better and would be one fifth of the price of replacing my Prose.  So in March I flew to Dallas and spent 5 days getting fit for my lenses, and I have to say the results have been really wonderful. The first pair of lenses that he had me try on were more comfortable than my Prose and that was just the first pair he made. He made me a total of 5 pairs until he got the most comfortable fit, with a coating that makes it so that I can barely feel them, even when I blink. They are also slightly smaller than my Prose in diameter, which makes them more comfortable and easier to put in. Overall my experience going to see Dr. Gemoules was wonderful. He is a really kind hearted person, he listened to what I had to say, and he made sure I left with the most comfortable pair of contacts that I possibly could. I am up to wearing them as much as 14 hours a day now, I am able to go outside and enjoy the day in ways I could never before when the sunlight hurt my eyes too much. For the last year or so I was basically a shut in because of my eye conditions, and now I am outside every day sometimes 5 to 7 hours. I can't recommend Dr. Gemoules highly enough and I can't thank him enough for what he did for me.

I contacted them they said I needed to contact my insurance and now I am getting called by them saying I am going to be sent to collections. So the surgeon I would give 5 stars but office staff 2 or less.

Nandimandalam, and from the very first interaction to the last, she did not hear me as a patient, she did not express compassion. This doctor's bed side manner was deplorable. She spoke over me repeatedly and would cut me off when I attempted to speak and advocate for myself. I also later discovered that she broke HIPPA law by sharing my test results with my mother whom was present without my consent in secret. I don't believe this physician is fit for direct patient care, as she gave me a terrible experience when I was already feeling awful, and she broke the laws that protect my privacy.

I sat down in the chair. They hooked me up to monitor my hearbeat and breathing. IV sedation is the way to go! I don't remember a thing. Just woke up asking if that was it. No pain at all. Dr. Igor even went the distance to personally call me and ask how everything is and if I had any questions. That right there is what defines a top notch medical professional.
