They advertise that they could repair a part (Sony TV KDL46Z4100 T-CON board.) I followed their long and detailed instructions. I cleaned, initialed, and packaged the board with all their various requirements. In a few days I get a PayPal invoice for $12.00 for repair when their advertised price is $55.00. So I emailed them to ask that they fixed it and are only charging $12.00. The manager Bobby Kolev responded that oh sorry we cannot not fix that board and the $12.00 is so they can send it back to you and that the "T-CON board that you've sent us is not the same as the one shown in our picture ." Essentially they cannot fix the board they advertise that they fix. He went on to say they don't fix Sony boards! So wasted $20.00 in shipping (to them and back) and still don't have my TV repaired. I found their Youtube channel after my mint condition 4 year old ($1000) LG widescreen monitor completely died one day and I went searching online for repair options. What they offered seemed pretty straight forward so from there I followed the instructions to removed the main board and shipped it out for service. Within 10 days I had the board back, installed it, and my monitor was working like new again. I was very impressed with the entire process and their communication at each stage of the repair came in like clockwork and followed the exact outline on their website instructions. The entire process was very "automated" and required no extra communication on my part. So all in all, for less than $90 (including the $15 it cost for me to ship the board to them), my $1000 LG monitor was brought back to life. I was searching the web for a fix for my 50" LG Plasma that would turn on, and then immediately turn off. Not cycling, just by the on-off button. I was surprised to see a local store. I took the power supply out myself (seemed really similar to working on computers). I had a little trouble finding the suite, but I found it out back. My TV was brought back from the grave! After extensive online research, I thought I'd take a chance to send in the main board for repair because I came across Coppell TV Repair. $80 to take a chance OR pay the price to have it recycled through our community. Sent the board in, about a week later (as they commit to first in, first out) I received my board back, repaired. I reinstalled it, put the tv back together and was super sad to see my TV did not work. A couple days later, I decided to pull it apart again to make sure all the cables were connected correctly. I found myself back to square 1 with all the tricks the internet has to offer with the button pushing sequences; unplug, hold power down, wait 30 seconds replug and power up, etc. Then I happened upon a youtube video indicating that perhaps a fuse could have blown due to replugging in a bad T-CON cable. Yes, I learned what a tv fuse looks like as well as what a T-CON cable is. I went back to my Coppell TV portal and questioned the fuse issue. They suggested I check the T-CON cable. Turns out I replugged it just slightly to an angle. Replugged and voila! I got my TV back!! I would recommend Coppell TV Repair to anyone having TV issues. They helped me through the WHOLE process and bringing hope to the TV I have missed for so long. They are very prompt with their service and correspondence. Don't waste your money! I sent my T-Con Board in to be repaired and was returned in worse condition than when I sent it. I had a picture before that was just darked and had no brightness to it. When it was returned all I saw were vertical lines. Would not recommend this service to anyone. They asked for me to send it back and they would supply a video of it working but at this point I've already wasted $60 why spend the money to send it to them again. read more

Well, I don't know about the other people in the other review, but in my case everything looks A OK. I bought a 65 inch samsung plasma where someone said the power was gone. I googled this issue and the internet stated that if the red bulb in the front of the TV doesn't come on then it is probably the power board. So went online and found this website. My experience with Coppell TV is hopefully not finished, as I would like to upgrade my 1 star rating to a 5 star rating, if they are able to complete the job. Initially, I contacted Bobby after hours on 8/22/16. I was impressed that he wrote back after hours that same day. I have a Sanyo DP42849 that had an issue that fit one of their resolution descriptions. I emailed with Bobby a few times and we finally decided it would be best for me to mail them my main board P42849-01 as well as the T-con board, as the power light would come on, but no picture, and prior to that issue, all the colors were going inverted. I sent the package off on 9/6, it was received on 9/8, and I received an invoice for the repair on 9/9. Quick service, I asked for an explanation of what was repaired, and Bobby replied with the following: "Sorry should have sent a message, but someone else was working on that actually and I only got involved in the decision making. Your main board was definitely bad in the usual way; we could confirm it was bad first and then we could confirm it was functional as this is what we do here. The T-CON board we could not test as we do not have this particular panel, but we have done many other boards based on the same design and we've just done to your board what we do for them - replaced the gamma correction IC, which is known to go bad and cause the color deformations you've experienced. We'll need to rely on your feedback for the success of that one, but we're definitely hopeful it will fix it." I went ahead and paid on 9/10 and received the package back on 9/14. Well I plugged both boards back in that evening, and noticed there was progress, the backlight was now working (even though the screen was still black) and the power light was not cycling anymore, however, still no picture, no sound, no response from any buttons on the remote or tv, besides the power button turning it on and off. I reached out to Bobby on the 14th, 16th and 21st of September to ask his opinion on what else could be wrong with the TV, so that I could continue my quest to have it fixed, and not have spent $130 for no results. He has yet to respond to any of my communications attempts. I even tried to call him at some point during that time frame, but it just goes to voicemail. Bobby, I would like to increase this rating to 5 stars, as I believe you're capable of it, and capable of helping me fix my TV. Please respond so we can move forward with my repair. The picture on my 10 year old Sony KDL-46Z4100 television had suddenly become discolored. It was like looking through the eyes of the "Predator". I did a quick google search and apparently this is called "solarized" and could be caused by a microchip on the TV's T-Con board. I was lucky enough to find videos of people replacing the T-Con board of my exact TV model. So I was able to take the back panel off and remove the board. I noted the model number of my T-Con board (55.46T02.C02). Then I started looking online for it's replacement and came across Coppel TV Repair on Ebay. Their advertisement was for my exact model number so I decided to mail it to them for repair rather than buying a new board for much more money. I live in New York, and they're in Texas. I mailed the board in a USPS flat rate box on a Saturday, and it was returned to me by Friday. I plugged the repaired board back into to the TV and it works like new. It started showing horizontal lines on the screen, and finally one day would not power on. Like all good homeowners I turned to google search to find out what other owner's were experiencing. I was online researching how to fix my LG plasma that had a switching issue, it would click on but click off straight away. I ended up with finding Coppel TV repair online and they had a kit for fixing this very issue yourself . I am a handy man and fix things for a living so repairing a print plate and power supply would not be difficult for me. I ordered the kit and although I live in Canada it arrived promptly and I mounted the parts that could cause this issue. Upon turning on the TV it worked but the next day It was back to it's old switching issue . I emailed Coppel TV repair and asked them for advice on this and if they had perhaps a capacitor replacement set as I thought that that could be the issue . Within 5 minutes I received a reply and a possible solution and I took his advice and had a look in side the TV once again and He ( Bobby Kolev) was absolutely right on his diagnoses and I fixed the TV, this needed no new parts and a simple soldering of a connector was all. My Toshiba plasma set went pop and the screen went black. I contacted Toshiba and they directed me to an authorized repair center. After paying a $65 diagnostic fee, the owner told me he couldn't get the parts to repair the set. When I asked if I found the boards would he install them he said yes. I could not find a source for the replacement boards. However I did find Coppell TV Repair and they said they could repair the boards. I e-mailed Bobby and he said he was confident that he could repair the boards. He quoted me the price to diagnose the boards and repair the boards. His website provided enough details to open the set and extract the boards. I sent the boards off to be repaired and got them back within a week. I put the boards back into the set and turn it on. The set didn't work. I contacted Bobby and he said to resend the repaired board back. When he got the board he said one of the components had broken in transit. He fixed the board and sent me a video clip showing the board working. When I got the board back I installed it and the set came back to life good as new. Bobby did what he said and stood behind his work. I managed to save at least $250 over the first quote I was given to repair the TV. A word of advice.
