It's not all bad, but there's not a lot of good about Copper Blues. I'll start with the good - the service was good, it was the only place that had seating at dinner hour, and the food came out at a reasonable pace. I was shocked that other restaurants were quoting us hour wait times during off season at Blue. The drinks were also good (albeit expensive). Unfortunately I just didn't enjoy my meal - most of our table ordered the prime rib, medium rare, and it came basically well done. I've never had such a thin prime rib before, which probably contributed to the reason why it was cooked so thoroughly. There was basically no pink on my meat. The accompanying horseradish was also pretty bad - it tasted like a horseradish paste that had been mixed with water. There was no kick to it at all and had a sour aftertaste. Since it was pretty expensive I ate the majority of it, but definitely wasn't happy about it. Given the prices, I expected a better prime rib. My friend, who ordered 2 alcoholic beverages and the 16oz prime rib, paid $140 including tax and tip - which is absurd. I paid $75 including tax and tip for a non-alcoholic drink and the mediocre 8oz prime rib. I probably would never come back.

Nice bar & Grill restaurant at Blue Mountain. Food was fabulous and the portion was really generous. Price is a little steep, but understandable as it's a resort with resort-type pricing. Servers were really friendly and always asking what we need and how things are.

When you're hitting the slopes, it's nice to take a patio break with some food and drinks for lunch. Walking by, I saw some nice portions so I thought let's give this place a try! Draught beer and a Shirley Temple. Dee-lish. We shared a prime rib sandwich with fries on the side. Man, that gravy dipping au jus was yummy! The sandwich was not small and shareable for light lunch or snack. The fries were crinkly, crispy, and slightly seasoned. We wanted more. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive given the fact we were only one table out of a few sitting outside. I'm glad we made this our lunch spot. Sure, you could get poutine just a few doors away, but to have seating, a table, grub, and booze, I think we made the right choice.

The place ambience was amazing. The food dishes all came out nice and finely made. The table server was also constantly checking up on us and making sure we have what we need. The food tends to be on the pricey and more high-end side so it may not be for everyone. What I also did not appreciate was the extremely long wait times to be seated. We did not have a reservation made, but the door attendant assured us that she would be able to work something out for us and have a table ready. There were several constant updates and reassurances about seating us at a table. In the end, where there was an opening was at the high table by the bar counter. We just decided to go with it and have our dinner meals there. It turned out just alright, but not the best and most memorable experience possible.

Decided to stop at Copper Blues in Blue Mountain Village for brunch on Monday after an eventful weekend. We got seated promptly right at 11am and they had their menu outside so you can look at it before making a decision. I ended up ordering the smoked turkey and brie croissant with a side of fries. The croissant was served with a slice of pear inside. I thought that the pear was a good idea but one slice was definitely not enough and I didn't get much of the sweet taste they were going for. The croissant paired with the ingredients inside was a bit bland so adding something extra, even a drizzle of honey would have made it better. The fries though were amazing and more of wedges than thin fries. The waitress was super nice and asked us about our trip while sharing her own personal travels as well. If you're looking for a place to eat brunch in Blue Mountain village then definitely check this place out.

Went again to Copper Blues the next night. This time with a group of 17 people for dinner! Again it was a wonderful meal. This time I ordered the braised short ribs in a wine reduction sauce. Delicious. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meals. We also shared multiple salads, appetizers and dessert. Poutine was especially flavorful. Service was professional and she handled the big party well. It was fortunate to have a second chance to eat there and again have well prepared food with attentive service.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CORPORATE TEAM HERE. Your team will be disappointed as they will not prioritize you. There's just too many things that are awful about this place. I came here with a big corporate group and we waited 2.5 hours for our dessert. I'm guessing since the bill was already paid that they thought they didn't have to provide good service? Ugh. The food. They took amazing pieces of jumbo tiger shrimp and cooked it to rubber. So unfortunate. The steak was meh. I will not be returning and advise everyone to save your money and get fast food instead. There's also Tim Hortons close by - a wrap from there would have been better.

We made a quick stop here for some beers and crab cakes. The crab cake had a great crust to it. Similar to the breading and crust of a Dutch egg. The filling was full of crabs and other yummy ingredients. Super tasty!

Enjoyed a fantastic Chicken Scnitzel in a brown sauce with finely prepared fries, julien carrots, & cauliflower on a nice summer day! Paired with an Inniskillen Riesling on an outdoor patio, I was in really good shape. The service was really excellent as well!

It's funny how it didnt snow on Christmas day but snowed 2 days later. It wasnt a white Christmas but it was one well spent in the company of my family. Last year, my friend and I visited Blue Mountain and Collingwood and went to Cooper Blues on our 2nd day there. ----- The Breakdown: Cooper Blues | 7/10 | $19.95 In my opinion, their Baja fish tacos were definitely overpriced tacos. It was $20 for 2 tacos and some fries. The fries were crunchy but I wasn't a fan of the tacos. It could have been more flavourful and had more toppings inside. Gord and I had supper tonight at Copper Blues Bar & Grill. Mark, our server, started us rolls with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, which was yummy. They have a Fallicious deal from Sunday to Friday with meals for $29 ... and that's what Gord got. He ordered the Seafood Platter for 1. He's had it there before and enjoyed it. I ordered the 16oz Country Cut Slow Roasted Prime Rib (minus the veggies). The steak was soooo good ... tender and tasty! I'm glad I got the larger size. I gave Gord a couple pieces too. Mark was really friendly and chatty.

Summary: fancy place, average food, high price, good location We went here for a company event. We went here for the group dinner. Even though I did not pay for the meal at the end, I could sense this place is expensive. After all, it is in the Blue Mountains Village, which is a tourist spot. Because we are a large group, the restaurant prepared a prix fixe lunch menu. I ordered the lobster soup as the appetizer, steak as main and apple pie (? not sure) as dessert. It was so so, pretty standard and mediocre dinner. It probably does not worth the price. Since we are a large group, I think the restaurant re-made a lot of dishes, and some dishes come out cold. It is a fancy place if you to have a fancy meal outside the cafe. However, I don't recommend it here.

Had a pretty good dinner here. Ordered a custom dish with Medallions (cooked perfectly) and shrimp skewers also cooked well. The Chickpea and chicken curry bowl with basmati rice had great flavors and not as heavy of a dish as I anticipated. The Brie fritters app we're good but could be a bit smaller and the calamari were over cooked. For drinks, the wine selection was decent. If you lime lager try their local Collingwood ones on tap. Overall a good spot in the Village, food was pretty good and service was on point and - our waitress was on the ball.

Okkkkie dokie Came…read morehere for a family reunion invitation. My elders suggested the place. Mind was thinking hmmm will it be a good place? Drove up with the family to join the shin dig. The place is nestled along the coast associated with a marina. The complex the restaurant is housed in reminds me of an assisted living vibe that was repurposed as a family resort. Kinda like if you added some water slides and pools to the side of an ol folks home. We walk in, wife and kids begin chirping about how the restaurant looks ok but is giving off some retirement home, but! The patrons are mostly family. We are seated at the back of a nice room , however our back wall adorns a large lcd screen emblazoned with a digital beach scene. My back is to it, so it doesn't bother me too much. Now that ive set your expectations to "questonable"we get to the food. Wife and i not expecting much. We go with the recommendation from my parents to try the tomahawk steak- for four people, kids ordered salmon rice veges, and spaghetti dish, The tomahawk takes about 45 mins to prepare. Comes w a Cesar salad, and we also ordered a calamari appetizer. The house bread is soft warm and fresh. W a sid eof roasted red pepper butter. 5/5 Calamari has light batter w. A nice sauce chipotle mild? Very yum- 5/5 Ceasar salad on point w the right composition of dressing, and fresh greens! 5/5 Kids: My sons who are picky 1. Salmon rice broccolini dish- completely gobbled up. 5/5 2. Spaghetti w carbonara sauce. 3/5. He said it was ok. Maybe too heavy on the cheese. Tomahawk - came out cruise missile style and landed into my top steaks crater. This thing was pre cut, on a meat board , w delicious gravy in a gravy pot, side of perfect mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables? Maybe some were also grilled . The meat was perfectly done a medium- light red , tender, touch of blood. Made to order. Meat was all eaten , as were the veges and the mash 6/5! Considering my expectations were low when i was judging this place on its looks. Also tried a side of the mushrooms- well cooked w good aroma 5/5 Desert was a chocolate lava cake - light cake part and rich chocolate lava part-4/5 Needless to say. Exceeded expectations. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Fresh food for what we ordered. Hidden gem at this seafood restaurant was the tomahawk steak- MVP!. Give this place a try!!! Service was good 4/5

It directed me on the coupon card to check out a website to see what "coupons" were offered from the participating restaurants. Before visiting Swiss Chalet tonight I had visited the website and noted that we could get a free appetizer with the purchase of two adult entrees if we used the card. The website directed me to show the server the coupon card before ordering. There is a stripe on the card for the server to swipe on their machines as well as an area on the back to scratch off to reveal the gift card code . At our visit tonight, I told the server about the gift card and the coupon card. She then went on to tell me that I should have received a printed coupon book with the gift card when it was purchased. I received nothing I told her since this was a gift. I said I didn't understand why I would need a printed coupon book when the coupon card had a stripe on it for swiping and nothing on the website mentions anything about paper coupons. I also went on to tell her it does not say that on the gift card or online. She went to ask her manager and returned to say the manager told her I was supposed to activate the gift card. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about (both cards would have been activated at time of purchase, right?!) and proceeded to show her on my phone what the website says including how I only needed to present the card at the time of ordering and showed her how it had a stripe to swipe on the back to process the order. She agreed to put in our order and use the card to see if she could process the appetizer for free. After we ordered, she took the card and processed the order wth the appetizer. She reported she was able to do so and when we got our bill at the end of the night, I saw it was taken off the bill. So, my point is, the wait staff AND the MANAGER need to be better trained on how to process the gift cards that come with these extra coupon cards. She and the manager had no idea how to process them and she only realized what to do after it was me the customer showed her how to process because I took the time to look at the website beforehand. We ordered a spinach dip appetizer which was very good and very filling. I ordered a chicken pot pie and had to bring most of it home. My boyfriend ordered a holiday chicken feast which came in a large position. I want to thank our server Darcy for her patience with us when we were working through the gift card and coupon card issue but again, the company needs to train the staff on how to process these. I shouldn't have to do that as a customer
